- If you have ever been shopping with your mom and she asked you to hold up an article of clothing to see if it will fit your sibling, you’re a middle child.

Scratch that, if you have ever gone shopping with your parents just to find out that you weren’t there for you, you’re Malcom in the middle.

Hand-Me-Downs are at least half of your wardrobe, whether you had an older brother or sister, you definitely rocked staple pieces of the opposite gender.

Not to mention when you did, by the time they got passed on to the youngest, your parents bought them all new things because they didn’t want to force them into something *insert large and sarcastic gasp* used.

So you did what all middle children do, scream at the youngest for borrowing your clothes, and stealing from those who came before you, because well, you’re going to get blamed for it anyways.

Speaking of blame, I bet your siblings have made you the honorary scapegoat, because let’s be honest, you probably did it; and of course, the one time you didn’t, your lovely parents didn’t believe you.

- When your older sibling left for college, your parents probably moped and cried for about a year and a half, when you left, they couldn’t have run out the dorm faster.

The ages when you could things were most definitely later than your youngest sibling, you practically paved the way for them to roam like wild animals. Tube tops, dating, curfew, was all pushed back, while they could start doing it at the ripe age of 10.
