The beauty industry is always buzzing. From new products and brands on the rise, it can be hard to keep up. From across the country, Canada’s BIPOC beauty founders are stepping up and inspiring us to feel our best. From makeup, skincare, fragrance, body and hair, here are 5 beauty brands you need to have on your shopping list.

Cheekbone Beauty

With sustainability at its core, Indigenous beauty founder, Jenn Harper, has pushed boundaries with Cheekbone Beauty. To best describe Cheekbone Beauty, Harper says: “I created Cheekbone Beauty because I felt there needed to be a brand for real people that offered the latest trends and was super easy.  There needed to be a brand that was made in Canada, that was never tested on animals and that gave back to the First Nations community. “
