There’s often a time when one reevaluates their skincare and beauty routine. You’re applying the last drops of your serum, the last glimmer of your eyeshadow cream, the final swipe of your most-used lip balm when you ask yourself: is this the best? Or is there a better product out there? There are tons of new beauty and skincare products hitting the shelves, all claiming to be the best. You have questions! Want to try new things! Mix things up! Live a little! …At least, according to your beauty routine.
That’s why I’ve conjured up – yes conjured, these products are pretty magical – some of my favorite new products I’ve tried this year. Yes, I’m mixing my beauty routine up a little and I’m sharing the deets with you. For some? They’re the hidden gems. Other’s, some of the most popular on the market. But they’re definitely worth trying if you’re looking for something new.
Here are just a few of my favorite beauty and skincare products you need to try.
- Lip Balm: Lanolips

Ah, Lanolips. Where do I begin? I’ve been using this brand’s lip products for a while now and my lips are surely thanking me for it. Lanolips is the perfect beauty brand if you want perfect hydrated and dewy lips. Their products are made of “lanolin, which mimics human oils.” They often use hyaluronic acid as well for extra moisture. The brand’s classic 101 Ointment sells one per minute globally, and they’re voted The World’s Best Lip Balm by Reddit and The Times UK!
Not only do they have the cutest packaging – which really adds a bonus – but their 101 Ointment comes in several fruity flavors! My personal favorites are their 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Peach and their Banana Balm Lip Sheen 3-in-1! The smell of each flavor is spot on and doesn’t feel artificial. It’s as if you’re actually smelling the fresh peaches. Or, tasting a banana split! Oh yeah, and did I say they leave your lips feeling super moisturized?
If you want to try several of their flavors, I recommend their 101 Ointment Fruities Trio, which comes with peach, green apple, and strawberry flavor – which model Gigi Hadid featured in her post-pregnancy beauty routine with Vogue!
I also love their Original Lanostick lip balm and their LANO 101 Ointment – Baby Rose Gold, as I can use it for a flushed look on my cheeks and lips. The LANO Watermelon Lip Water is also amazing. Because watermelon flavor of course! My favorite. They also have a new watermelon flavor in their classic 101 ointment. And, if you want to try another amazing lip water that gives your lips a shimmery golden glow? Their Lip Water Liquid Gold is perfect! Another absolute favorite of mine, this lip water adds a little golden twinkle here and sparkle there – also… smells like Christmas! What’s not to love? You can purchase them directly from their site or at Ulta stores as well!
- Moisturizer & Eye Balm: Tula

If you’re looking to try a new moisturizer, I’ve been using Tula’s Hydrating Day & Night Cream and it’s so, so, so moisturizing. Three ‘so’s’ there, my friend. Three ‘so’s’! It simply leaves your skin feeling refreshed and cool.
But, if there is one product I swear by, it is Tula’s Rose Glow Brightening Eye Balm. Good GOD do I love this product! … Sorry, got carried away there for a second.
It’s their best-selling hyaluronic eye balm that instantly hydrates and cools your skin while reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. I use it under my eyes and on my eyelids, and basically, anywhere I feel like it. Neck, cheeks, forehead? You bet. And it is the most sensationally, lovely, cooling feeling words can’t describe. Ah.
Just try it. You’ll be pleased.
- Eye Cream, Lip Tint, & Eyebrows: Kjaer Weis

Looking for a creamy eyeshadow to add to your daily beauty routine? Try Kjaer Weis’ cream eyeshadow. I love their shade in Alluring as it’s a beautiful gold with a light-reflecting shimmer. Apply to your eyelid with your fingers for an intense color with long-lasting wear. Before you apply, I do recommend their ever-popular and iconic eye balm. This soft-as-silk balm hydrates your skin and revitalizes your eyes. It’s skincare and makeup in one!
I also really love their lip tints as well. I’ve been using their lip tint in shade Goddess. It’s a gorgeous rich burgundy “lipstick-lip balm hybrid with skincare quality ingredients”. One of my favorite red lipsticks!
And don’t forget your eyebrows! In order to really make your eyes pop, you need a complimentary brow tint. Kjae Weis has a beautiful brow gel that has a gorgeous range of brow shades. My favorite eyebrow shade is deep brown as it looks similar to my natural shade, yet thickens my eyebrows wonderfully!
Seriously, if you need to try a new makeup brand, I do recommend Kjaer Weis!
- Glow Face Roller & Eye Masks: INC.redible

And I have to mention their lip care. Ah! Not only are they hydrating, but each Nourishing Lip Balm and Lip Gloss visually looks beautiful – whether it’s the color on your lips or the design of the actual lipstick. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Their nourishing lip balm ‘jelly shots’ have a beautiful flower detail inside each lip balm. And their Crystal Roller Lip Gloss is actually “infused with crystals to stimulate lip circulation.” Their Stay Lucky Crystal Roller is one of my favorites when it comes to crystals – it includes Aventurine, which brings good luck and releases positive energy with it!

Let us not forget an important part of beauty. Our teeth! Our pearly whites need to be taken care of to leave us with a radiant smile, right? Well, that is if you have pearly whites? Not quite pearly? Well Go Smile is a brand I’ve been using and their Teeth Whitening Kit is a go-to for… well, white teeth! It’s in the name, folks.
I’ve been using their Sonic Blue Lite Toothbrush and my teeth feel super clean every time. I’ve never tried a sonic toothbrush before but I really feel the extra in ‘extra clean’ every time I use this one. And if you need a whitening kit, they have a Non-sensitive Hyperox Whitening kit that penetrates any deep stains you may have as well!
- Serum & Eye Masks: Bliss

Sweet, sweet Bliss… – Oh! Sorry, I’m just thinking of Bliss’ brightening vitamin C serum. Yeah, it’s pretty dang good. Their Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Serum is something well worth trying if you’re on the lookout for a new vitamin C serum. Oh, and since we’re talking blissfully good products, I also can’t recommend Bliss’ $3 Eye Got This Holographic Foil Eye Masks enough! These soothing eye masks awaken and depuff your eyes. It’s yet another one of my favorites when it comes to eye masks. Apparently, it’s a cult-favorite among many celebrities. Chrissy Teigen is just one of the many celebs who rocked her Bliss eye masks on Instagram. Who wouldn’t? They’re not only filled with sparkling stars but soothing as well. Ah, sweet bliss…
