Off-Campus is a college romance series that is centered around students at “Briar University”. The Prime Video show released this May and reached 36 million viewers within the first 12 days. Many people don’t know that there are books that correlate to the show. There are four novels that go along with male characters in the show, as well as a novel that catches up with all the couples: The Deal – Garrett Graham & Hannah Wells, The Mistake – John Logan & Grace Ivers, The Score – Dean Di Laurentis & Allie Hayes, The Goal – John Tucker & Sabrina James, and The Legacy.

I just finished the first book “The Deal” and I cannot stop thinking about it. “The Deal” is a fun and flirty college hockey romance with emotional moments, chemistry, and a way deeper love story. It follows Hannah Wells, a college student who has a crush on a star football player at Briar, but she fails to get his attention. Garrett Graham, a star hockey player, needs to improve his grades in order to stay on the team. Garrett discovers that Hannah is excelling in the class he’s struggling with. They make a deal- Hannah tutors Garrett,he he helps her get closer to her crush. As the deal goes on both of them slowly start to fall in love with eachother, and end up discovering each other’s insecurities, past struggles and feelings.

I love romance books and this was easily one of the best. The way Elle Kennedy dives into each character while writing really makes me feel like I am in the book. Kennedy makes me feel an emotional connection to the characters like no other author ever has before. After finishing the book, I felt emotional. It was almost like I wish the book would never end.
