This week’s theme of Dancing with the Stars is always one of my favorites, along with Dedication Night, which happened last week. I just think that the Halloween and spooky dances are always some of the best and most creative dances of the season. Every Tuesday, my roommate and I make sure to watch it no matter how late we get to it.
My favorite dance this week was either Connor Wood and Rylee or Amber and Pasha. In past weeks, I feel like Connor hasn’t gotten scores that have reflected how he is doing. So, this week I feel like he finally got some recognition for his hard work on the dance floor. Amber and Pasha, I feel, are one of the strongest couples and will definitely make it to the finale. I definitely think that her ice-skating skills help her with being a good dancer and learning the choreography. But I think she is doing an amazing job, and I think Pasha is the perfect dance partner for her.
I have a few hot takes for this season. My biggest one being I loved Guillermo. I just thought he worked so hard, and yes, he wasn’t the greatest, but I thought he had the best attitude out of everyone. He was just so willing to learn, and you could just tell that he was having so much fun with Whitney.
My second hot take is that I thought Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess dedication night dance was the best one out of all of them. I was in tears at the end. I just thought Tyler and Tate announcing their pregnancy was the absolute cutest thing ever. The fact that they had the gender reveal as well just had me crying even more, and his dedication was for his mom, and they found out that they were having a girl was the perfect thing. Most people thought that his voice-over for the dance was cringy, but I thought it was so fitting for the dance.
Overall, this show is something my roommate and I look forward to each week, and I think there are so many good partners that have such a good chance at winning this season. I would love to see Connor Wood and Rylee win because she is my favorite pro. She is just so deserving of a mirror ball, and I think Connor would be the perfect partner to win with. I am so excited to watch Disney Night with guest judge Cynthia Erivo.
