Coffee is a polarizing beverage—you either love it or you hate it. If you’re anything like me, you can’t stand the taste. Here are a few of my favorite caffeine alternatives that help keep energy levels up!

First is caffeinated tea! The best part of tea is that there are so many flavor options. Whether it’s the morning or the mid-afternoon, and iced or hot, caffeinated tea can give you that much-needed boost.

Another common choice is soda, such as Coke or Dr. Pepper. Though it’s not the healthiest option, many sodas and diet sodas have caffeine. If I’m ever in desperate need of some quick caffeine, diet Dr. Pepper is my go-to.

Then there’s Yerba mate. While it’s not everyone’s favorite, it has become widely popular amongst the younger generation. I personally prefer normal tea, but Yerba Mate is a fun change of flavor!

And in addition to beverages, there are multiple brands of caffeinated chocolate such as Awake. Though these chocolates don’t seem to be as effective as tea or soda, they are a tasty treat.
