‘Heated Rivalry’ Is Coming To Theaters, & Here’s The Full Schedule For The Release

Heated Rivalry took over everything in 2025, and it’s about to do the same in 2026. The Crave series was the most talked-about show of last winter, and launched two new mega-stars in the form of Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams. The Heated Rivalry TV series also brought new attention to the book series the show is based on, Game Changers, written by Rachel Reid. Fans have been reading and re-reading the series, watching and re-watching the series, and consuming all of the Storrie and Williams content they can. And even as we come up on a year since Season 1 was released on HBO Max, the hype still hasn’t died down — now, Heated Rivalry is coming to a movie theater near you.

Filming for Season 2 of the smash hit began in Toronto this August, and fans couldn’t be more excited, but they’ll have to wait until 2027 for its release. However, the hype certainly isn’t going to slow down any time soon. Fans now have something new to tide them over until the second season’s official release, with Season 1 being shown in movie theaters this fall.

If watching the show in the comfort of your home just wasn’t enough, and you’re dying to watch it among friends and other fans, then get ready for Season 1’s release in theaters. Heated Rivalry screenings will take place in Regal Theaters locations as well as AMC, Cinemark, and other participating locations across North America, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. “Nearly a year after its premiere, we’re proud to work with our partners to turn a season fans have watched again and again into a true theatrical event, “Brooks LeBoeuf, senior vice president of U.S. content at Regal, said in a statement. “It’s a chance to celebrate the story, its creators, and its performances before Season 2 arrives in 2027.”

All six Heated Rivalry Season 1 episodes will be shown in theaters from Nov. 6 to Nov. 30 in paired screenings: Episodes 1 and 2 will run together, Episodes 3 and 4 will run together, and finally, Episodes 5 and 6. On top of the episodes, bonus content from the cast, show creator, and director will be shown in Regal theaters. And for a limited time, participating theaters will have two Heated Rivalry-themed cocktails: Summer in Montreal and Russians Don’t Blush.

To make the whole thing even better, each screening costs $9.99, which in today’s world of high movie ticket prices is a pretty good deal. Get your tickets now. See you at the cottage.
