Are you a Peanuts Gang fan?  Well then, I have an article for you! In this article, I will be ranking my favorite Peanuts Gang TV specials.  I will say first that all the TV specials are very good and are hard to rank, so let’s get into it.

1. A Charlie Brown Christmas

This TV special is a childhood classic to get into the spirit of Christmas. A Charlie Brown Christmas was written by Charles M. Schulz and was released on CBS on December 9th, 1965. This TV special is about Charlie Brown being sad during the Christmas season; he is also overwhelmed by Christmas. Then Lucy gives him the idea to direct the school’s play to find the meaning of Christmas. While he is directing the play, he runs into the cast, causing chaos. So, he decides to bring in more of the Christmas spirit by getting a real Christmas tree. If this TV Special doesn’t get you in the spirit of Christmas, then I don’t know what will.

2. It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

This TV special comes in a close 2nd and is very iconic and famous for the spooky season. It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown was written by Charles M. Schulz and premiered on October 27th on CBS. This special is about Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin to appear while everyone else goes trick-or-treating. This movie is the perfect movie to get into the fall mood. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is worth the watch if you love the Peanuts Gang.

3. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

This TV special comes in at 3rd; it was very difficult to compare all these specials together. But don’t knock it until you watch it because this special is very good. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special was written by Charles M. Schulz and premiered on November 20, 1973, on CBS. This movie is about all the Thanksgiving traditions. This movie starts with Lucy tricking Charlie Brown into kicking the football. At the end of this special, Snoopy and Woodstock cook up their own Thanksgiving meal. If you haven’t seen this special before, give it a watch; it is cute and reminds you of what Thanksgiving is about.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article and that this article influenced you to watch these specials. Currently as of now all these specials are available to watch on Apple TV. So, to get into more of the holiday spirit of either Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, I highly recommend you watch these movies. Thanks for reading!
