Making a 7Energy or latte at home can be much easier than you’d expect, and here’s the breakdown of how to make some of my favorite drinks at home.
Pink Mermaid
A 7Brew Pink Mermaid can be made at home with coconut, watermelon and strawberry syrup. As an energy drink connoisseur, I purchased the three Torani syrups on Amazon.
To prepare an energy drink, I use one can of Red Bull, specifically the zero sugar one as a personal preference, but either can be used! Then, measure out two tablespoons of syrup— since we are using three different syrups, I’d recommend using ⅔ tablespoon of each flavor.
For reference, a small drink from 7Brew is 16oz and a medium is 24oz.
If an energy drink isn’t your vibe, you can definitely swap the Red Bull for club soda to make yourself a fizz. For a fizz, I recommend measuring out 16 ounces, or two cups of club soda, and we’re instead going to do three tablespoons of syrup, so one of each!
The bases can be interchangeable with teas, lemonade, soda, energy drinks, or basically anything of your choice!
Sweet and Salty
7Brew’s Sweet and Salty latte is the perfect combination of caramel and white chocolate, but my favorite spin on it would be adding a hint of salted caramel.
To take this home, it can easily be made iced or hot, all based on your preferences. This can be made with or without a coffee machine at home, so I’ll break down both!
If using a coffee machine, I would start by pulling two shots of espresso, the standard used for a small or medium coffee at 7Brew. At home, I use two blonde roast Nespresso pods and measure out 12oz of my milk of choice.
Since I like my lattes extra sweet, I measure out one tablespoon of white chocolate Torani syrup and one tablespoon of caramel syrup. I then add ½ tablespoon of salted caramel, but this is optional.
For a standard sweet-and-salty, I measure out ½ tablespoon of each syrup, then top it off with ice.
If you don’t have a coffee machine, no worries. Any store-bought brewed coffee could substitute. In this case, I’d recommend measuring out 6-8 oz of brewed coffee, depending on how strong you like your coffee.
I’d still recommend using ½ tablespoon of each syrup and measuring out the same amount of milk as you would if you were using a Keurig or a Nespresso before topping your drink off with some ice.
Looking for other menu items?
Most drinks follow the same standard production, just with interchangeable syrups or flavoring. If you’re hoping to make another drink on their menu, here’s a guide for you to substitute your syrups.
7 Energy: measure out 2 tablespoons of syrup and split evenly across all flavors. Add one can of an energy drink of your choice before topping it with ice.
Lemonade: measure out 2 tablespoons of syrup and split evenly across all flavors. Add two cups of any lemonade of your choice before topping it with ice.
Teas or Fizz: measure out 3 tablespoons of syrup and split evenly across all flavors. Add two cups of either green tea, black tea, or club soda before topping it with ice.
Latte or Breve: use two shots of espresso or 6-8 oz of brewed coffee and measure out 1 tablespoon total of flavor. Add 12oz of the milk of your choice before filling the rest of your cup with ice.
While these recipes may not be perfect, they are definitely good ways to be able to enjoy some of your favorite 7Brew drinks at home!
To perfect your drink combination, I would recommend playing around with the syrup measurements to find a level of sweetness right for you. If you like your drinks less sweet, try using half measurements, or if you like them extra sweet, increase the added syrups by a tablespoon for each drink.
Making your drinks at home not only help perfect them to your liking, but is also a cost-friendly way to enjoy your favorite drinks.
Walmart sells 12oz Torani syrup bottles for under $5.00, which are perfect for when you’re experimenting with different flavors. If you’re ready to commit to a flavor, TJMaxx has a variety of syrups, each for under $9.00.
Whether you’re craving your usual order or looking to try something new, making 7Brew drinks at home makes it easy to get your favorite flavors at your ideal taste without the coffee shop price tag.
