‘Bunch of Friends’: The Season 2 Finale

On Sept. 12, 2025, a new kind of video fell into the hands of many people’s YouTube algorithms. Titled we do a spelling bee and eat vegetables. The thumbnail offered four familiar faces: Coy Piso, Will Wahony, Anthony Potero, and Hannah Bondalo, internet personalities making up Bunch of Friends.

Who Makes Up Bunch of Friends?

Coy Piso

Front and center in the video thumbnail is Piso. Some viewers may still recognize him from his popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic as a Twitch streamer. Others may notice that he’s the guy who exposed an unlicensed casino in his YouTube video I Rated Places With 0 Reviews.

Will Wahony

YouTuber Wahony can be seen towards the back of the image. Scrollers who aren’t direct fans of his content may recognize him as the guy from his Cosmic Union Earth Trip videos on TikTok.

Anthony Potero

In the very back of the thumbnail rests arguably the most recognizable face: that of Potero, affectionately known as Anthpo. There’s no singular thing Anthpo is known for. He’s performed numerous stunts anonymously, all of which ended up on the front pages of news articles.

Bunch of Friends is one of his many current projects, but previous endeavors he may be recognized for include New York’s real-life superhero, Cheeseball Man, the heavily replicated Timothee Chalamet lookalike competition, and his college vlogs from his years at Rutgers University.

Hannah Bondalo

There, Anthony met the fourth member of the bunch, Bondalo, AKA Hanbon. She didn’t have such a large digital footprint before Bunch of Friends. She was a frequent, beloved character in Potero’s college vlogs and on her own personal Instagram.

After finding themselves all in the same house, the four young adults scrapped all the videos on Bondalo’s short-lived YouTube channel We Move Out Soon and renamed it Bunch of Friends. Over a year later, the channel has racked up almost a million subscribers with just over 100 videos. The bunch uploads new shenanigans on YouTube every Friday to “fill the hole of…[what you watch]… 20 minutes once a week casually” left by many recent television sitcoms that have been canceled after one or two seasons.

The Question

Season one of Bunch of Friends followed the crew’s journey to 100,000 subscribers, with a promise that they would eat a skateboard when they reached their goal. They did reach their goal, but now that season one was over, they had to find a new premise to keep the momentum going.

At first, viewers may have thought it was a bit. The bunch ends their first episode of season two, Driving until we run out of gas, by stating that they have a question for the CEO of YouTube. Due to the exasperated nature of the group at the time, it’s possible many fans thought nothing of it. However, as new episodes were released, it became clear that the schtick is here to stay.

Breaking Down the finale

On Sept. 25, 2026, Bunch of Friends finally got to ask their question. The fans didn’t quite know the question yet. Apparently, neither did Bunch of Friends.

The group spends the first half of their hour-long extravaganza preparing for their meeting. To do so, they split up into two teams: Potero and Bondalo create a presentation while Wahony and Piso head off to etiquette class. On their way, they run into the film’s first special guest: Weston Koury from the Sinjin Drowning channel. Though he doesn’t have much screen time, he adds a familiar and fun face for fans to recognize.

Whilst the two boys make their best effort to be well-mannered, Potero and Bondalo find themselves struggling to get anything done. This is an interesting antithesis to the norm of their videos. Most of the time, we see Potero and Bondalo actually getting things done, while Wahony and Piso get up to their usual antics.

To entertain themselves, Potero and Bondalo call up Boom Boom, someone they met in a previous video when she was dealing Pokémon cards out of her car at a Target. Together, they continue to get absolutely nothing done. The bunch then continued to prepare by choreographing dances to show the CEO, practicing stand-up comedy to make sure they could make him laugh, and getting a color analysis done to determine how they can look their very best.

Bunch of Friends then made their way to California. There, they met up with their second guest star, streamer Vanillamace, and made their way across Los Angeles to make sure they could do all the necessary “influencer” activities. As they continue their shenanigans on their way to YouTube headquarters, they run into a problem. Their $700 robot baby that they threatened to crush previously to get a meeting with the CEO of YouTube was all grown up. To make matters worse, he was angry. This is where the YouTube video turns into something more like a movie.

Unlike their previous videos, this finale follows a comedic, carefully planned, and interestingly written script. There are callbacks to “characters” from their previous videos at every turn. Their group is ripped apart in the mess. Coy finds himself at YouTube headquarters alone. The rest of the bunch chased after him.

When they finally find each other, Coy begins to reflect on all the time the group has spent together. Flashbacks of planning and behind-the-scenes of photoshoots start playing for the audience. At the end of the day, the big question to the CEO of YouTube ended up being;

“How did I get so lucky?”

The season two finale of Bunch of Friends pulls together what the channel has been working for since it began. All the crew aims to do is create a safe space for its viewers, where they get to watch four truly best friends get up to antics they wouldn’t see in their everyday lives. The bittersweet moments towards the end of the video clearly show that the goal was never to get famous, never to go viral like they had claimed throughout the season, but instead to be closer and make the most of their lives.

At the end of the day, they’re really just a bunch of friends.
