5 Cafes To Try Around Glassboro

MILKWEED table + market 

MILKWEED is located in Pitman New Jersey  only two miles from campus. Outdoor seating, live music, and even vegetarian options are available. This cafe provides a very warm and uncluttered atmosphere. They are open everyday 9-3 PM Monday through Friday, and 8-3 PM Saturday and Sunday.  Breakfast, brunch, and lunch items are offered daily. Numerous seasonal items are also on the menu. A dirty apple soda and apple butter chai look especially appealing to try. This cafe is also very reasonably priced with drinks around $7, and food items ranging from $10-20. 

Cream Cafe Glassboro 

Cream Cafe is located right in Glassboro, a very trendy spot to come to, offering many drink options. It is also a special place to go study with friends or just hang out. They are open everyday from 7-4 PM. A variety of  foods are served such as breakfast, pastries, salads, sandwiches/pannis, and wraps. Drink options have a  range of different things like energy drinks, an espresso/coffee bar, smoothies, tea, and dirty sodas. All are very reasonably priced, with most items costing around $5-20 dollars. 

Bella Grace Coffee & Cafe 

Bella Grace Coffee & Cafe is located in Mullica Hill around 15 minutes away. It is very cozy and simple on the inside also with outdoor seating making it a perfect place to relax. They are open from 8-4 PM everyday except Sundays. Numerous different coffees and a small selection of non-coffee drinks are served.  They have typical breakfast and lunch items. Two interesting things on the menu are their cookie butter toast, and their new pistachio toast. The menu is also  very well priced with drinks starting at $4-6, and food starting at $5-15. 

Lucia’s Bistro

Lucia’s Bistro is located in Pitman just two miles from campus. They offer outdoor seating, and the inside is very open with many places to sit, making it a great place to meet up with friends. Their hours are 8-7 PM Sunday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 8-9 PM on Friday and Saturday.  Many options are provided to choose from such as coffees, hot chocolate, lemonade, matcha, and teas. They are also priced the same as the other cafes for drinks, ranging from $4-7. This place specifically does offer a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu, ranging from $10-25 dollars. 

Poppy & Pine 

Poppy & Pine is located in Glassboro right on Rowan Boulevard. This is a new cafe that just recently opened. The inside is very natural and welcoming. They offer specialty coffees, and brunch options. There are two sections: a dine section and a section where customers can relax, do work, and catch up with friends. Their hours are 7-3 PM Wednesday- Sunday. Although there is limited time opening, it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a good coffee break and sweet treat. Poppy & Pine is also in the same budget being $5-20.
