Is the Kevin Langue Show Really About Kevin Langue?

I’ve been watching the Kevin Langue Show for about two years, but I’ve known Kevin since he did content with Sam and Colby. If you’re anything like me, the recent drama has been confusing and heartbreaking. There have been many opinions, including people taking sides and speculating about the truth online. The purpose of this article is to lay out the facts, but also to share some of my own insight into the situation.

JUNE 2025: Last year, the Kevin Langue Show grew exponentially in popularity. In June alone, the channel gained almost half a million subscribers and received about two hundred million views. This popularity wasn’t a coincidence. Fans loved the dynamic between the panelists, Denny Love, Herman Wrice, Aaron Branch, and, obviously, Kevin Langue. Together, the four guys had fans rolling on the floor laughing.

SUMMER 2026: Throughout 2026, the show continued to gain traction, and its popularity continued to rise. In March, they announced a tour that included eighteen cities in a month and a half. During the tour, however, the show declared they would be taking a break from uploading videos on YouTube. Finally, after two long months, the show came back with a huge announcement. The Kevin Langue Show would now be shown on Netflix. Their first episode back was a smashing success, from both the main channel and KL2. Everyone was so excited to finally get new content from their favorite YouTubers.

SEPTEMBER 12TH: The second episode of the season was released, and fans were furious. The newest episode was missing all of the core panelists besides Kevin. In the comments, Kevin declared that this season was bringing back a rotating panel, which was common before the show blew up. Fans were, understandably, upset. The main reason most of us watched the show was for the hilarious dynamic among the four guys. Why would Kevin replace the people who made the show so successful? Eventually, it was revealed that all three of the guys had unfollowed Kevin Langue on Instagram.

SEPTEMBER 13TH: The next day, Herm posted on his Instagram story a clip from The Temptations. The clip follows a musical group in which one member believes he is bigger than the rest of the group. Then, Denny posted a statement of his story that said, “I know we comedians, but not everything is a joke. Everything is in plain sight. Just Look.”

SEPTEMBER 14TH: Herm, Aaron, and Denny posted a joint statement. They claimed that they haven’t been involved in the show for a while and that there are no plans to bring them back. They also stated that there’s “only so much we are at liberty to share at this time,” insinuating that they’re under a nondisclosure agreement. Furthermore, a lot of the guest panelists from the show, including James Davis, Audrey Stewart, Gianni Paolo, and even Dylan Sprouse, showed their support in the comments.

SEPTEMBER 15TH: Kevin posted two letters on Instagram: one addressed to the fans and one addressed to Aaron, Denny, and Herm. Kevin claimed that on one of their production days, he received an email from their attorney that stated the guys wouldn’t film until their contracts were renegotiated. He alleges that the lawyer didn’t specify any demands, only that they wanted more. Furthermore, he said that he still doesn’t know what the demands are and that he was ghosted. He stated he felt betrayed that his friends were “launching a smear campaign to deliberately mislead and confuse people with passive-aggressive posts, empty insinuations, and fake narratives.” However, once again, frequent panelists on the show were in the comment section. Christian Pierce commented, saying that Kevin was the reason for all of this and that he consistently failed to support the other panelists. Tyler Townes commented that Kevin let greed and clout get to his head and that nobody was paid. Later that night, another statement from Denny, Aaron, and Herm was released. They stated that they were blindsided by the Netflix deal, and were required to get lawyers because Kevin insisted that everything go through his lawyer. They declared that Kevin kept the deal a secret and that they needed more time to process major changes and avoid issues with production. Furthermore, they said that they were never told what their new contracts would look like, even though they had asked. Lastly, they stated that they’re not looking to place blame; they just want to clear their own names and continue providing fans with a reason to laugh.

SEPTEMBER 17TH: A few days after the initial drama, James Davis, who is a frequent panel member and fan favorite, released a statement about his involvement on the show. James confirmed that none of the guest panelists were paid or offered payment for their role on the show. He claimed he participated for the exposure, and the connection he made with fans was worth it. James was one of the panelists in Kevin’s newest video, where it was revealed that the panel had been replaced. He said that he didn’t like who he was on the show with Aaron, Denny, and Herm, and that it wasn’t the same. Furthermore, he goes on to state that the guys deserve compensation for the hard work they did on the show.

The biggest takeaway from this situation is that people deserve credit for their work. While a lot of the details are still hazy, what I do know is that the show wouldn’t have reached the level of success it did without these three guys. From the fans, your work is greatly appreciated. We can’t wait to see what you do next and will support you every step of the way. And to Kevin, we all hope you understand that what you did isn’t okay, and that you can learn and grow from this situation.
