Applications for Skidmore’s ZEN Mentorship Program (named after Zankel himself) are open now! Founded in 2020 and run by the Career Development Center, the ZEN program accepts 60 students and matches them with alumni in their field of interest. From October to April, you will meet routinely with your mentor and build a relationship with them through:
- Identifying career goals and the steps necessary to achieve them
- Discussing career resources and strategies used by the mentors
- Reviewing students’ resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and other toolsÂ
- Facilitating connections and recommending networking opportunities
In addition to mentorship, there will be campus events and info sessions, and orientations to connect with other mentors and mentees. Network, build your resume, and learn crucial skills for entering the workforce!
The deadline for application is Sunday, September 27th.
