For Harry Styles fans, Oct. 31st isn’t just Halloween. It’s — more importantly — Harryween. What is Harryween, you ask? It’s a concert event where fans of the artist dress up in costume to celebrate Halloween at Styles’s shows. Celebrating its third year in 2026 (Styles previously held the event with fans in 2021 and 2022), Harryween has seen some pretty iconic costumes. This year’s event will wrap up Styles’s 30-day Together, Together residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Oct. 31, so fans seeing the show should come prepared for a big night with even bigger and better costumes.
Styles himself is always leading the charge with iconic costumes. In 2021, Styles dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz on night one and went all-out as a Pierrot clown on night two. And in 2022, Styles dressed up as Danny Zuko from Grease. Each night during Harryween, Styles also adds in some amazing surprise covers — in 2022, he sang what is arguably Grease’s best song, “Hopelessly Devoted To You.” I couldn’t be more excited to see what he’ll pull out this year.
While fans are encouraged to wear any kind of Halloween costume at the Harryween concerts, many, of course, take the opportunity to dress up in Styles-themed looks, re-creating some of his most iconic outfits and eras, or dressing up as titles or lyrics in his songs. These are some costumes you can take inspiration from — whether you’ll be attending a Harry Styles show or heading to another Styles-themed Halloween party.
- Fine LINE PILGRIM HARRY
-
OK, this one will take some workshopping, seeing as the original material isn’t concert-appropriate, but this photo of Styles from the Fine Line album photoshoot has been memed a million times and is perfect if you want to go for something funny.
- DISCO BALL OR DISCO DANCER
-
Anything disco-related will make sense for this year’s Harryween, seeing as his latest album was disco-inspired and titled Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally. You could go as an actual disco ball, or go for a ‘70s-inspired disco outfit. Either one fits the theme.
- CORDEN’S ANGELS
-
A classic Harryween costume inspired by a late-night sketch One Direction did with James Corden, this dodgeball outfit is hilarious — and bonus points for being comfortable on a long night.
- Frat Boy Harry
-
For an easy one that you can throw together at the last minute, Frat Boy Harry is a reference to one of fans’ favorite eras of the singer from 2013, when Styles was rocking a frat boy-inspired look with his bandanas, flannels, and jerseys. You could recreate a specific look of his from this era, or just go for the general frat-boy vibe to make it easier.
- Paint By Numbers
-
Referencing a song from the new album, you could go for a paint-by-numbers costume, literally dressing up as a paint-by-numbers kit. Or, you can get extra creative and do a Harryween paint-by-numbers shirt, like this fan did.
- Harry Styles Harryween Costume
-
If you want to get a little meta and wear a past Harryween costume worn by Styles, you could recreate his Dorothy, clown, or Danny Zuko looks.
