Fans Are Convinced They Know Where Phoebe Bridgers’s Next Pop-Up Show Is

Updated Published

Everyone, hold your motion sickness: Phoebe Bridgers is getting ready for a new era in her music career. After a three-year hiatus, Bridgers is back — but it’s not new music just yet. Instead, it’s a series of surprise shows — and I’ll take it!

Since May 8, Bridgers has been making her way around the United States, performing surprise pop-up shows in various cities. But where will Bridgers go next? Well, fans have some predictions about where the next surprise, pop-up show will be.

ICYMI, Bridgers’s first pop-up show was on May 8, in Roswell, New Mexico, which she performed with no notice. Shortly after (on May 9), she performed in Lubbock, Texas, and has continued to play surprise shows at small venues throughout the United States.  So far, Bridgers has been to  Jackson, MS (May 14), Mobile, AL (May 15), Macon, GA (May 16), Georgia (May 18), Greenville, SC (May 19), Chattanooga, TN (May 20), Lexington, KY (May 22), and Champaign, IL (May 25).

Fans believe Bridgers is making her way through small cities to promote her upcoming album, which fans believe is centered around UFO and alien themes. So, with this in mind, many fans suspect that her pop-up shows are taking place in small cities known for speculated extraterrestrial activities.

In true Bridgers fashion, these are not your typical pop-up shows: According to Reddit, fans are driving to suspected locations and checking if a staff member is blocking off that venue. The staff will allow them to line up, but they cannot confirm or deny if Phoebe Bridgers is making her way to them.

The next surprising twist is that Phoebe shows up, then fans are all happy that they have won this guessing war game, but if she does not, then you’re out of luck, and hopefully next time you get the clue right. Posters will then go up, and you can secure your wristband. A hidden tip: if you really want to meet Phoebe first after the show, try to get a seat in the front row.

Many are happy with Phoebe Bridgers pop-up shows because it’s taking the third-party out of the game, making it more affordable. (According to those who have attended, tickets are usually priced at $50 plus tax.) And let’s not forget that the mini-tour is supporting small venues, which is a great way to bring the community together.

Since her last appearance was in Champaign on May 25, fans are speculating where she might go next. Not only are they looking for cities that have to deal with the theme of her upcoming album (aka, where there have been UFO sightings or doomsday billboards), but also how the route might be based on the previous cities that she played in.

One TikTok user had a theory that Bridgers might make her way to Kalamazoo, Dayton, Clarksville, Huntsville, or Evansville. With another user speculating, she could pop up in Springfield and Lawrence.

Personally, I think that she might end her pop-up tour in Roswell, New Mexico, since that’s where she started, but I’m curious as the next to see where she might go after her last appearance. But if you have any prediction where she might go, please loop a girl in!
