Which ‘Sex And The City’ Character Would Die First In An Apocalypse

The girls of “Sex and the City” are famously known for how different their personalities and approaches to life are.

Carrie is often described as being very emotionally driven and impulsive, while Samantha is quite the opposite, as she doesn’t believe in love and leads a very hedonistic lifestyle. Charlotte is a romantic who thinks about her life through a practical lens, and Miranda is portrayed as an independent and career-driven woman.

These differing characteristics make me wonder how they would react in the events of an apocalypse and who would be the last one standing.

First off, we have “Big’s moving to Paris,” Carrie Bradshaw. We’ve all been her, and we love her. But in an apocalypse, I’m sad to say, she would undoubtedly be the first one taken out.

From screaming in public because she forgot an umbrella to falling face-first in a Prada in Paris, it’s safe to say she doesn’t have the best survival skills. I think she would try to hit a zombie with her Manolo Blahniks but ultimately fail.

Next up, we have our shiny and classy Charlotte York. Charlotte is very smart and kind in nature, and I think she would be the person who keeps everyone’s spirits alive. However, many of her life goals revolve around getting married and having kids. Once she realizes that her future husband and wedding guests are probably six feet under, I think she would quickly give up. Not to mention that she wouldn’t have it in her to put herself over her friends.

Miranda is one who was hard for me to place. She is extremely independent and self-sufficient and can definitely hold her own. However, everyone has a weakness, and hers is Steve. Before he came along, she was the only one who had her sanity and was realistic about her life.

She had boyfriends but never wanted to be with someone who didn’t meet her standards, no matter how lonely she got. But something changed when Steve came along. Settling for Steve has to say something about her judgment skills. In addition, being a mom would make her less likely to look after herself. My theory is that she would keep her baby safe and healthy, but she herself would not make the cut.

Finally, we have New York’s finest, Samantha Jones. I can confidently say that she would be the final girl. She is unapologetically selfish, and I have no doubt that she would do whatever it takes to survive.

She has no attachments to marriage or children, and I think she would have no problem throwing someone under the bus (or the zombie) in order to survive. We see her being fiercely protective of her reputation and unafraid to fight other people for it in the show. I really think this would carry over and double down in an apocalyptic setting.

I think these rankings could be switched around, as they are all very nuanced characters. However, this is the one that made the most sense to me. Although realistically, I don’t think any of them will survive without each other.
