This is my summer of live music, and honestly, it should be yours too.
There’s something about live music in the summer that just hits differently. It’s not only about hearing songs you love, it’s about feeling them. Warm air, the sun dropping behind the stage, a crowd moving together like everyone’s part of the same moment. It all adds up to something you can’t really explain until you’re in it.
For me, concerts are what make summer feel real. They’re the nights that weren’t supposed to be anything special but end up unforgettable. It’s losing your voice from singing, your phone dying halfway through, and not caring at all. Everything else fades out, and for a while it’s just music, people, and being completely present.
After going to so many shows, one thing’s become pretty clear: playlists and streaming are convenient, but they don’t come close to the real thing. Live music is messy in the best way; songs sound different, the energy is unpredictable, and hearing thousands of people sing the same lyrics at once is something you just can’t recreate through a screen.
So if you’re looking for a reason to get out this summer, this is it. Here are just a few artists hitting up New England! Go see at least one, you won’t regret it:
