Graduation is only three weeks away, which is so crazy to me! While I’m definitely anxious and want time to go by more slowly, I already have a lot of summer plans that I’m excited about. My family and I have the usual trips that we go to every year: Wellfleet on Cape Cod, Woodstock, Vermont, and Narragansett, Rhode Island. We have our favorite traditions, and we always make new memories each year.
In addition to our usual New England trips, we’re going to London and Paris for my graduation trip three days after the ceremony! Both London and Paris have been on my travel list for such a long time, and I can’t wait to see the Eiffel Tower in person and eat authentic Parisian croissants! I’m also planning on meeting one of my long-distance friends who lives in London for the first time, and I’m so excited to see her after several years of being friends with her.
It’s still up in the air whether or not I’ll have a job by the time summer rolls around, but I’m hoping to either have one or volunteer somewhere over the summer. Either way, I’m in no rush. After graduating, I’m done with deadlines for a while, or at least until I get a job!
As I mentioned in previous articles, I also have plenty of concerts lined up. I’m seeing Bleachers in June, Madison Beer and Muse in July, and I’m going to the Dancing With The Stars Con at the end of July into August!
While I’m not feeling ready to graduate yet, I’m very excited for summer and what it has in store!
