TA3 Swimwear: The Suit that Suits All

I love summer: the warm weather, the cute outfits. But the best part is going to the beach, it doesn’t get better than that. For us girlies, before most beach trips comes the one thing we all secretly dread: bathing suit shopping. I get chills just thinking about it. Finding the right size, the right shape, and a good fit for the girls feels almost impossible. Things are either too tight, cutting in everywhere, or you’re spilling out in all the wrong places—I got so fed up with it. As a curvier woman, finding a bathing suit that’s flattering, stylish, and boosts my confidence has been a battle for me as long as I can remember.

I remember being a teenager shopping with my mom. The dramatics I had over finding the right swimsuit could’ve been straight out of a sitcom. It genuinely felt like my world was ending in the Macy’s dressing room if I didn’t find the perfect suit. As I got older, my mom started suggesting shapewear-style brands, like Miracle Suit. No shame to those, but I couldn’t help thinking: is this really my only option? Isn’t there anything that actually feels more my age? Something that does the job but still looks cute? That’s when I came across TA3.

TA3 actually went viral after being featured on Shark Tank in 2022. And although the sharks weren’t particularly impressed, the internet absolutely loved it, and that was what really mattered. The brand blew up and it was suddenly everywhere on TikTok. Influencers were posting try-ons reviews talking about how flattering, waist-snatching, and surprisingly comfortable these suits are. I knew I had to try it for myself and thank goodness I did.

I will never go back to another brand. The suits have this corset-style feature in the back that you can tighten and instantly snatches your waist. The sizing is actually comprehensive for once, with options ranging from AA to J cups, which us curvy girls typically never see. They also offer different lengths for shorter or longer torsos. It feels like the suit is made for your body instead of trying to force yourself into it.

TA3 has a massive range of colors and styles. For the girlies who can’t stand built-in cups and want a comfortable feel, look no further: they offer a wide variety of styles without cups, so no more digging into your skin while you are trying to tan or swim.

Between the large selection of sizes and the ultimate comfort they provided, I was curious to see what else TA3 had to offer. This is what led me to their clothes, which feature adorable tops and dresses as well as shapewear pants. Their dresses are jaw-dropping, actually out of this world stunning. They carry over the same features I love so much in the bathing suits, especially that built-in corset style that snatches your waist without feeling restrictive or uncomfortable.

One of my favorite things about the brand is that both the CEO and founder are women. Clothing made for women, by women, just hits different. You can always tell they actually understand what feels unflattering or awkward in other suits and designs, and they actively fix it. My favorite suits are easily the “Sleeveless Surfy” and the “Lifty.” Yes, they are on the pricier side, but I promise they’re worth it. My first suit has lasted me for years, and I still bring it on every single summer beach trip.

I finally feel comfortable in my own skin while wearing a bathing suit. No more dressing room drama. No more tears and insecurity. Just pure confidence. I look in the mirror and feel proud of my body in TA3. Whether it’s swimwear, a cute top for school, or a dress for a night out, the corset style will never fail to make me look snatched.

Hi, I’m Alexa! I’m a student at Temple University studying Communications & Media Studies, and I’m so excited to be writing for Her Campus. I took a nontraditional path back to school, which honestly shaped a lot of how I see media, storytelling, and campus life now. Coming back to academics helped me rediscover my confidence and my love for writing, especially when it comes to topics that feel personal, cultural, and relevant to everyday college life. I’m really interested in how media influences identity, trends, and the conversations we’re all already having.

Fashion and beauty are huge passions of mine, but I see them as so much more than just trends. I love how style can be empowering, expressive, and deeply personal. I’m especially interested in beauty, luxury and resale fashion, sustainability, and how aesthetics intersect with confidence and self-image. I also love diving into pop culture, arts, and entertainment, whether that’s music, film, or what’s currently taking over everyone’s TikTok feed. Writing about these topics feels natural to me because they’re things I genuinely care about and talk about all the time.

Outside of school and writing, I balance work, commuting between Philly and home, and staying involved on campus. I value honesty, humor, and conversations that feel real, especially around wellness, relationships, and figuring things out in your twenties. Through Her Campus, I hope to create content that feels relatable, thoughtful, and fun, and that makes readers feel seen, informed, and excited to keep scrolling.
