With the academic year coming to a close, final exams and projects are on the horizon. Long hours studying can lead to stress, burnout, and hunger. Sometimes, all we need is a snack to propel us forward and help us keep studying. With that, here are my favorite foods to snack on while I study for my final exams, in no particular order.

Ice Cream

As the weather warms up, ice cream is an extra special treat. For me, I love ice cream as a study snack because it’s sweet, cold, and relaxing to eat. Ice cream is a comfort food of mine because it’s so rewarding to eat after a long day. With so many different flavors to choose from (my favorites being cotton candy, vanilla, and cookies and cream), ice cream is surely a special and rewarding treat to eat while studying.

Chocolate

For whatever reason, chocolate feels like a necessity when studying. Whether it’s a Twix bar, a Cookies ‘n’ Creme Hershey bar, Oreo cookies, or chocolate chip cookies, anything chocolate-related is the go-to vibe when studying. The sweet taste and perfect richness of chocolate make any exam worth studying for!

Doritos

A personal favorite of mine, Doritos are truly a great snack to enjoy while grinding during these last few weeks of school. With so many various flavors, I think there’s no better snack to enjoy. Doritos can give you that savory boost you’re craving while locking in for those exams. Plus, they’re truly delicious and are totally worth it.

Cheez-Its

Cheez-Its also come in many different flavors. Whether it’s white cheddar, original, or cheddar jack, Cheez-Its can also give you that extra something you need to make it through your exams. Same with Doritos, these are truly worth the snacking to boost your intelligence.

Soda

With all these delicious and yummy snacks, drinking something is necessary! Personally, you can’t go wrong with a cold soda. There are a ton of soda flavors to choose from, and when you need that late-night caffeine to keep you energized while studying, soda is a great option!

Have a yummy finals season!
