Pose Pilates studio opened its doors for the Glassboro and Rowan community in January. It is located on 14 High Street E, across Thai Thai. They offer classes centered around hot yoga and hot pilates for all ability types. My two friends and I went in March, and I’m here to talk about our Sunday at Pose.

My two friends and I went during their “Lucky 7” promotion, where a single class was $7 instead of the usual $20, which is also fairly good for a single class. They also have class packs of 5, 10, and 20 ranging from $90-$170–$320. They also have monthly memberships with and without autopay, which is around $138-$150, with the unlimited monthly student discount being $125 a month.

They offer a wide range of classes everyday of the week all throughout the day. Some classes are Warm HIIT, Hot Mat Pilates, Hot Sculpt, Hot Tablates, Yin Yoga, Hot Vinyasa, and the class my friends and I did, the Vinyasa Heated Sculpt to name a few. They even have events from time to time, like this Sunday where they have Mat Pilates with a Latte Pop-Up in collaboration with Boho House Hair Salon in Pitman. Customers can enjoy cookies, lattes, grab bags, exclusive merch, samples, service discounts, and more!

Pose kindly requires customers to arrive 10-15 minutes early, as their doors lock at class time in order to maintain a calm space for everyone. They also do not provide yoga mats or towels complimentary, so you should buy your own and bring it there. They do however, provide the equipment during the class that is needed, such as balls, weights, and resistance bands.

My friends and I went to the class Jason was instructing, and it was incredible. My two friends are incredibly athletic, and this had them pumping! As someone who is getting into the flow of consistency, this was perfect. I felt challenged yet so accomplished, which was perfect for beginners, intermediates, and experts with the modifications to the poses. Vinyasa is a style of yoga that doesn’t really have breaks, so you are always moving. The heat felt like hot Florida humidity, but sweating was great, and the air outside felt like a relief. My friends and I loved it so so much, it’s so addicting! In fact, my one friend even bought the monthly pass and goes multiple times a week!

As we wind down the semester and ramp up content before finals week, maybe a good release is just down the street at Pose Pilates and Hot Yoga Studio! Perfect for just you or with a friend, it is sure to be an experience you’ll want to have again!
