2026 is the year for new music (and broke bank accounts, apparently). Have a favorite artist who hasn’t released anything new recently? Best believe they probably got something up their sleeve with the way the music industry is literally on fire, and we just started 2026! I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love the anticipation of a new album, a new era, and new merch that I will, in fact, give all my money to. Here is a list, not complete, of just a few of the upcoming album releases announced for 2026!
- Broken View – Sam Barber (4/3)

I am very excited about this album! I have listened to a good amount of his music, and I really enjoy a lot of it. Since this album was just released, I definitely plan on listening asap!

Maybe I’m out of the loop, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of this group before. But 24 albums, that’s insane! I might have to give it a listen!

UGH, I love Noah Kahan with all my heart. I am still mourning the fact that I didn’t get tickets to his concert. I don’t think he’s created a song that I didn’t love, so best believe I will be sitting and talking nonstop about this masterpiece of an album when it is released!

Good songs don’t come out of me writing to please other people,” she said. “All my best songs come from me just wanting to express something for myself and wanting to process a feeling just for me. Putting that out is sort of a later thought, but at the inception of a song, it’s just very insular. I can’t think about the other stuff.”

I about screamed when I saw her announce this on Instagram, I AM SO EXCITED!! Again, she has yet to make a song I don’t like, and that doesn’t punch me straight in the gut with her heart-wrenching lyrics. Once again, I will, in fact, be listening and talking non-stop about this album as soon as it is released!
