Swifties, Taylor Swift has an early Christmas gift for you — the final episodes of the six-part docuseries chronicling The Eras Tour, The End of An Era, will be released early on Disney+. Initially, the final two episodes were going to come out on Dec. 26, following the doc’s Friday release schedule, but now, they will drop on Dec 23. Swift announced her gift to fans on Good Morning America on Dec. 18 in a pre-recorded video message, thanking them for watching and wishing them happy holidays.Â
The docuseries shows the behind-the-scenes of Swift’s iconic (and record breaking) Eras Tour. The first two episodes premiered the day before Swift’s birthday on Dec. 12, alongside a concert film of her final Eras Tour show in Vancouver, British Columbia, called The Final Show. Episodes 3 and 4 of the docuseries will drop on Dec 19 at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Hulu and Disney+. And then instead of Dec. 26, the final two episodes will air on Dec. 23.
What can fans expect from the upcoming Eras TouR doc episodes?
Before the release of episodes 3 and 4, Disney Plus+ shared an exciting first look of the next two installments. The promo included Sabrina Carpenter, who was an opener for Swift on the Eras Tour, and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, so fans can look forward to seeing them in the new episodes.
In the first two episodes of The End of An Era, fans saw Swift rehearse with Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch. So it’s very likely that the rehearsal of Swift’s on-stage performances with Carpenter will be shown. When Carpenter was one of the openers for the Latin America leg of the tour, they performed a mashup of “White Horse” and “Coney Island” in Sydney, after Carpenter’s cover of “White Horse” played. The two reunited in October 2024 in New Orleans, surprising fans by singing “Please, Please, Please,” “Espresso,” and “Is It Over Now?” together.
Hopefully, seeing Kelce in the trailer means more Swift and Kelce moments are forthcoming, too. During the Eras Tour, the “Life of A Showgirl” singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end were dating. Now, the two are engaged, announcing the major news in a collaborative Instagram post on Aug. 26, captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
So far in the docuseries, fans have seen more of Swift’s personal life, including phone calls with Kelce and how she unwinds after a show. We’ll see just how much Kelce (and his relationship with Swift) is featured in the next two episodes.
Fans are beyond excited for the upcoming episodes, taking to TikTok to share their reactions as they patiently wait for them to hit Hulu and Disney+. Episodes 3 and 4 of The End Of An Era hit Hulu and Disney+ on Dec. 19, and the final two episodes hit the streamer on Dec. 23.
