So it is officially finals week, you know what that means. I am here to tell you about all of the best things to do over winter break. That’s right, you are on your own for studying. So I want to spend the next few paragraphs going over what we can do once finals are over. That’s right, folks, you have almost made it. So while you push through the last of your exams, you can look forward to these fun winter break activities.

No. One: Build a Gingerbread House

I know what you’re thinking, “Why would I do that?” But hear me out. Gingerbread houses are a great way to pass the time and get into the holiday spirit. Plus, if you want to make it extra special, make the house from scratch. You could model it after your own house, or if your skills are like mine, a hut.

No. Two: Have a Christmas Movie Marathon

This is a classic winter break activity. There is nothing quite like getting into comfy pajamas and settling in on your couch. So this break, get some hot cocoa and turn on your favorite holiday films. There are so many to choose from, so get to watching.

No. Three: Decorate Christmas Cookies

This is pretty similar to the first activity, but I promise it’s way easier. While building a Gingerbread house is a labor of love, decorating cookies is an easy pastime. You can make as many cookies as you want, and there are no rules when it comes to decorating. They can be as aesthetic or ugly as your heart desires. This activity is all about the process, not really the result. So get all your friends and start decorating cookies.

Now that we have covered some of the things you can look forward to over winter break, it’s time to get back to finals. We at Her Campus are rooting for you. You are going to do amazing this exam season, and remember, break is right around the corner. You’ve got this!
