With the holiday season upon us, that means that it is time for Bath and Body Works to release their annual holiday fragrances. Putting out both classic, beloved scents and brand new ones, all of the following fragrances are special in their own way.
- Strawberry Snowflakes
-
This scent smells of sweet strawberries, yet is not too overwhelming like the Strawberry Pound Cake scent often is. With top notes of strawberry, whipped cream and iced bergamot, this scent is just the right amount of subtly sugary.
- Moonlit Goddess
-
Moonlit Goddess is the best scent out of all of the ones in the holiday drop. It has a slightly fruity quality, with a very feminine, perfumy feel to it. Its top notes are French lavender, pear blossom and golden vanilla, making for a scent that can fit your vibe all year around.
- Winter Candy Apple
-
As a part of Bath and Body Works’ holiday collection, Winter Candy Apple was more reminiscent of fall than winter, smelling nearly exactly like the inside of an apple. Its fragrances are red apples, winter rose petals, candied oranges, maple leaf and fresh cinnamon, making it pleasant, yet not winter-y enough to stand out.
- Snowflakes and Cashmere
-
This pleasant aroma smells strongly of Christmas Eve night and bundling up to watch a holiday movie with your family. It has notes of vanilla cashmere cream, caramel woods and frosted clementine, creating a warm sense of comfort.
- Bright Christmas Morning
-
Bright Christmas morning is a very generic, Christmas scent, with no specific aspect standing out. Crisp apple, red berries and blood orange are the highlighted notes, giving a fresh and clean, albeit slightly basic, scent.
- Twisted Peppermint
-
Giving a very classic peppermint smell, this fragrance smells wonderfully exactly like a candy cane. While very strong, I find that it is not too overwhelming and evokes a strong Christmas feeling. Its top notes are cool peppermint, sugared snow, fresh balsam and vanilla buttercream.
- Vanilla Bean Noel
-
This well-loved scent is a variation of one of the most versatile fragrances at Bath and Body Works: vanilla. While Vanilla Bean Noel is one of the most popular holiday scents, it is subtle to a detriment and the vanilla aspect that it boasts can hardly be detected.
This fragrance’s scents are fresh vanilla bean, warm caramel, sugar cookies, whipped cream and snow-kissed musk. However, if you’re looking for a stronger vanilla smell, I’d recommend opting for either Warm Vanilla Sugar or Snowflakes and Cashmere.
- Magic In The Air
-
Similar to Bright Christmas Morning, Magic In The Air does not have a specific, distinctive smell, and instead carries a general holiday scent. Its top fragrances are almond flower, sparkling persimmon, white iris, whipped vanilla bourbon and fluffy sandalwood, making it an excellently versatile scent.
- Inner Angel
-
While not technically one of Bath and Body Work’s holiday scents, Inner Angel brings about the holiday feeling in a more subtle way. Its spiced apple cognac, tonka bean and warm praline top notes give it a woodsy, natural aroma, setting it apart from the other scents.
All of the scents featured in this year’s drop are wonderful and all evoke a different feeling, covering a wide range of vibes and feelings. As the holiday season is now in full swing, I hope this has helped you narrow down your wish list.
