Being a broke college student is not a unique experience. As I reach the end of undergrad, there are a lot of things I wish I knew. I would scream at my 18-year-old self to take this advice and save herself time, effort, and money.

With no effort at all, your UNCO email grants you hundreds of amenities and perks just for being a student. Here are some of my favorites that you can use right now.

UNiDAYS

After downloading the UNiDAYS app, you can find hundreds of name brand stores that offer you up to 50% off. There are discounts for UberEats, Nike, SHEIN, and more. UNiDAYS uses your school’s location to offer unique codes that work in stores just a few blocks away. (Hint hint: Starbucks.)

Spotify

I don’t know what my life would look like without music. Whether I’m walking from Central to West Campus or locking in during finals week, I’m always streaming music. Luckily, Spotify offers a student discount on their premium subscription plan for all four years of college (yes, even if you’re studying abroad). After your first month free, it’s only $5.99 a month.

Roma Pizza

Just off of 16th street, right by Sexy Sammies, you can get a 10-inch one-topping pizza at Roma for $7.50. Make sure to go in on Thursday at 8pm for some amazing pizza and trivia!

Chipper’s Classic Lanes

During the time of the year when student events start to slow down and Greeley feels a little dead, I like to go to Chipper’s Classic Lanes. Bowling with your friends has to be in my top ten ‘dead week’ activities. At Chipper’s Greeley, you can get a free game with the purchase of a second one.

HD Escape Room

Hidden behind the Historic Home Light and Power Building is Greeley’s best escape room. As a UNCO student, you can get 40% off themed rooms like Wild West or Curse of the Coven. Escape rooms are truly the best time!
