Although there are so many reasons for fall being my favorite season of the year, one of my favorite parts and main reasons for loving fall is how relaxing it is. Fall makes it so easy for me to come home after a long day and instantly put comfy pajamas on, light a candle, and binge-watch a good fall TV show with a blanket and snack. If you’re looking for a good show to watch on a cozy night like this that gives all of these fall feelings and vibes, here are some of my favorite TV shows to watch this time of year:
Gilmore Girls
Of course, Gilmore Girls will always be on my list of the best shows to watch during this season, because for me, Gilmore Girls is the peak of all fall TV shows. Even though the entire show doesn’t take place during the fall season, every episode of the show gives off that fall feeling. Whether it’s the aspect of a small-town storyline, the calmness of the show that always instantly relaxes me, or the episodes that are centered around fall, I always make sure to watch Gilmore Girls every fall.
American Horror Story
Although I love a relaxing, nothing-happens kind of show like Gilmore Girls, during the fall season, I also love a good scary movie. American Horror Story is perfect for wanting to watch something a little bit scarier during the Halloween season, but also for people, like me, who prefer binge-watching TV shows over a movie marathon. AHS has twelve seasons, each with an entirely different plot in each; So, it is perfect for a horror binge watch.
The Vampire Diaries
TVD is one of my favorite shows ever, and probably one of my most watched shows ever. Although I will watch this show all year round, the best time to watch it is in the fall. With the supernatural aspect of the show and the show being set in a small, scary town, this show is one of my favorites to watch when looking for an in between of the scary aspect of American Horror Story, and the autumn, cozy aspect of Gilmore Girls. This show is almost a perfect mix of all of the things that I love about fall and is also a perfect watch for when it’s any season and I am missing the fall season and its vibes.
