Beauty Products That Are Actually Worth Your Money This Summer

It can be ridiculously difficult to figure out which makeup and skincare products are actually worth investing in. It gets even harder when the weather starts to get warmer and brands and influencers are pushing products that you “need” for your vacations or to achieve perfect “glass skin” in time for summer. Here are some of the products that I’ve been loving recently and that I think are worth the money!

Kopari Sunglaze Sheer Setting Mist SPF 50

This sunscreen mist has been blowing up on TikTok recently and for good reason. When you shake the bottle, it develops a gorgeous pearlescent finish that will immediately add radiance to your skin once applied. If you are looking for a magical quick-fix for glass skin and/or easy sun protection, this is for you!

Byoma Ultra Lightweight Face Fluid SPF 50

On days when I would like a bit more sunscreen coverage, I like to use this one from Byoma. It feels very light on the skin, true to its name, and doesn’t pill underneath my makeup like some other sunscreens tend to do. It’s important to find a sunscreen that works well for you and your routine, because daily SPF will save your skin now and in the future! This product makes  sure that you are prepared for plenty of beach days ahead.

Youth To The People Kale & Spinach Superfood Gentle Exfoliant Cleanser

This is my favorite cleanser of all time. It is one of the pricier items on this list, but I have collected a few of the mini size, and a little goes a very long way. Using it is like a spa experience – it feels very refreshing and smells great, too. The mini size is perfect for taking on the go, and you can buy a refill as well.

NYX Buttermelt Blushes & Bronzers

I’m definitely late to the Buttermelt party, but am so glad I joined. I started with the blush and discovered that it is the most pigmented powder blush out there. It blends into the skin so effortlessly and lasts all day. The bronzer is the same formula, making it an amazing and affordable dupe for some higher-end powder bronzers. NYX recently came out with a Buttermelt Highlighter, which I am so excited to try!

Saie Beauty Glowy Super Gel

I get compliments on my glowy makeup all the time when I use my Glowy Super Gel as a base product. I love the shade RoseGlow, but choose whichever one will work best with your skintone – they all work the same wonders.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

If you’re flying this summer, you need the ever-popular Jet Lag Mask from Summer Fridays. Objectively the product that bumped the brand into stardom among the skincare community, the Jet Lag Mask is a lusciously thick moisturizer that will save your skin during travel. If you aren’t sure about committing to a full-size, there are multiple bundles on the Summer Fridays website that include minis of the Jet Lag Mask and some other products from the line – all worth trying, and containing more than enough product to last you your entire trip.

Morphe Cheek Thrills Blush Trio

This is a very recent try for me, but I can already tell it’s going to be an all-time favorite. For less than the price of one high-end blush, you can get three: a cream, a luminous balm, and a satiny powder. I picked this up because I thought it would be easy for travel, and it looks amazing on the skin as well. I would highly recommend the shade Beach Bonfire if you’re looking for a peachy coral blush that isn’t too orange.
