Calling all divas! This past Saturday, March 16th, Role Model brought No Place Like Tour to New York City, and I will be sharing my experience from the show.

I have been a fan of Role Model’s for about 5 years now, and this would be my third time seeing him live. I was beyond excited to see him on stage again for his sold-out show with an entirely new production and album. Not one second of the concert disappointed me. Regardless of him being sick, leading him to postpone his show the next day, he gave it his 100%.
I had the VIP ticket which came with his official Fangirl merch, including a Fangirl Tote Bag, Disposable Camera, Enamel Pin, and Hat. With the package we were able to get early entrance and early access to the merch. For this show, he brought back 100 of his iconic New York hats that he sold at his previous tour a couple of years ago. For the first time on this tour, he has a vintage photo booth free of charge for all the fans to pose in. It was the same photo booth from his music video Look at That Woman and had a sign placed on it that said, “Only One Strip Per Diva.”

The show itself was amazing. The opener Debbii Dawson did a great job at getting the energy up before Role Model came on. He loves to interact with his fans and it is very evident as he makes sure to include them throughout the show. He picks one fan to sing Oh, Gemini to and one fan to get on stage and dance with him during Sally. Running from both ends of the barricade to interact with fans and read their signs.
Honorable mentions at a No Place Like Tour show are always expected. A few were mentioned that night, including Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, Addison Rae, Kris Jenner, etc. He also took a moment to thank fans for traveling, skipping work or school, and simply just making time to be in attendance of the show. Plus, he hinted at a potential Calvin Klein campaign that could be in the works.
The setlist has been consistently the same throughout the entirety of the North American leg of this tour, however, he did cut the track a little more time. He has mentioned the difficulty in performing it when he is sick.
