With Valentine’s Day around the corner, let’s take a moment to celebrate the value of womanhood and friendships — here are some simple ways to plan and host a Galentine’s!

1. Get Cozy and Watch a Movie

Galentine’s is the perfect opportunity to spend time with your girls, wear cute, cozy pajamas, and watch a rom-com! Some of my go-to rom-coms are How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 50 First Dates, Sweet Home Alabama, Always Be My Maybe, and Set It Up.

2. Arts and Crafts

There have been a lot of cute, trendy crafts on social media such as making clay fridge magnets, vision boards, bag keychains, tote bag painting, and customizing charm necklaces. Some afrrodable places to buy arts and crafts are Target, Walmart, Dollar Tree, and local thrift stores.

3. Galentine’s Potluck

Pro tip: create a spreadsheet to easily organize a menu and make it easier for you and your friends to bring and share whatever dish they desire. Deserts are a staple of Galentine’s, especially cookies, cupcakes, donuts, and chocolate-covered fruits.

4. Game Night

Playing games with your friends is a recipe for a memorable night; it’s a great bonding experience filled with smiles, laughter, and memories! Some of my favorite games to play with friends are Cards Against Humanity, For The Girls, Charades, and Murder Mystery.

I hope you have a lovely Valentine’s, and remember: no matter who you’re celebrating with, surround yourself with people who are fulfilling, supportive, and caring!
