Why We Should All Take Notes From Blair Waldorf

Whether you loved her or hated her, there would be no “Gossip Girl” without Blair Waldorf. She is the original queen of mean and she was unapologetically herself, which is something we should all learn for ourselves.

Blair Waldorf was one of the most complex, misunderstood characters on “Gossip Girl,” and she had some of the best character development.

While she was the typical high school snobby-mean-girl, she had unimaginable depth. She could be fierce and independent while also balancing her vulnerable side.

When she was dealing with her internal battles or tough home-life she never let it show.

Waldorf constantly put up her confident front and would never stray away from her morals or the standards she held herself to.

I’m not saying we should build up walls around ourselves and never express our emotions, but it’s fascinating to see someone be able to hold themselves in a confident manner and not let small things get to them.

The Constance Queen never let anyone belittle her or make her out to be someone she wasn’t. That is something so important and valuable that not a lot of people possess.

In this day and age, we get so caught up in other people’s perception of us. With social media, we are constantly caught up in small portions of other people’s lives and do nothing but compare ourselves to others.

Women face many struggles and deal with loads of emotions that can be hard to manage. It’s extremely important that we never let go of who we are and who we want to be, which is exactly why Blair Waldorf is an inspiration.

We need to be creating standards for ourselves so that we never lose sight of our originality. Once you can develop a high sense of respect for yourself and your morals, there is nothing that can stop you.

Blair Waldorf’s confidence is extremely admirable. It’s what gave her a leg up.

Confidence can take you a long way, whether it’s for personal well-being or your success. It’s hard to advance in life without being confident in yourself.

This is how Waldorf constantly got what she wanted. Even if she struggled, she made it happen. She never let go of the things she wanted and always put her success first.

She had a plan for herself and her life from the start and constantly stuck to it, even with the multiple bumps along the way.

At the end of the day, you are here for yourself. Everything you do in life is to advance and create the life you want. It may sound selfish, but you should always try to put yourself first because you will always be your own cheerleader.

Her selfishness was important for her journey because it made her who she was. She sometimes made choices that weren’t the best in the moment, but in the end, she became the person she always wanted to be.

She learned to trust, love and mature. Even if you could not stand her character, this growth is undeniable and insanely inspiring.

So, whatever you take from this, let it be to never stray away from your integrity and know you will become the person you strive to be.
