For this month’s animal highlight, we have Francis and Maggie!

Francis is a 13-year-old cat with dwarfism, which has caused him to stop growing as big as other cats. In 2010, he was found by construction workers.

Maggie is a rescue that was found on the streets with a permanently broken paw.

Both cats were adopted by (@melinaavane) and have been living lavish ever since! Melissa promotes the idea of “adopting pets” and not “shopping” for pets, discouraging the use of puppy mills and breeding. All animals deserve a loving, safe home.

I am a student at the University of Kansas double majoring in English and history. In my free time, I love going to the movies, listening to music, taking photos on digital and film cameras, and hanging out with friends!
