First of all, congratulations on making it through another quarter/semester! It’s not easy to finish strong, especially when there are many students who are about to graduate this spring. So be proud of yourself for making it!
Now it’s time to relax and enjoy Spring Break because you’ve earned it/ I know the weather has not been all that sunny, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun. Here are five suggestions as to where you can go this Spring Break:
- Six Flags Scream Break

Six Flags is hosting 14 frightening events this Spring Break, or should I say scream break. During these events, you can expect two haunted mazes, three spooky scare zones, access to some attractions and terrifying snacks! A one-day ticket for this event costs $39.99 plus tax and the 14-night pass cost $159.99 plus tax. Guests will be able to pick up their wristbands starting at 7:30 p.m., but the official event will begin at 9:00 p.m. and go until midnight. - Super Nintendo World – Universal Studios Hollywood

If you still haven’t had a chance to check out the new Super Nintendo World, then now is your chance! Enjoy the new attraction, Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, and get immersed in the video game world. Not only can you enjoy this new attraction, but you can also try out the new restaurant called Toadstool Cafe with many delicious options to choose from. Do keep in mind that on certain days, a reservation is required to enter the land and to eat at the restaurant. Although it might be a bit chilly at the beach, it still remains a fun spot to check out! Visit Pacific Park this Spring Break and enjoy their all-new attraction, Sea Dragon. The new Sea Dragon was designed to make it a more immersive experience. Guests will now be able to feel as if they are in a boat caught in the strong currents of the ocean, battling two sea dragons. While this might not be happening during Spring Break, it is something that you could plan to do in the future! The World of Barbie is coming to Santa Monica Place starting April 14. Here you can expect to find many iconic Barbie outfits and dolls, as well as enjoy the iconic Barbie Dreamhouse and much more! Tickets are starting at a $34, but it depends on the type of ticket. - Round 1 Bowling & Amusement

If you’re looking for more of an indoor activity, then head down to Burbank! At Round 1 you can bowl, play arcade games, sing karaoke, play billiards and enjoy the foods/snacks they offer! All while being indoors, specifically inside the Burbank Town Center. The nice thing about this place is that once you are done, you can always go catch a movie since they’re right next to each other.
