My Trader Joe’s Must-Have Snacks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Holy Cross chapter.

Over the last few months, my friends and I have taken multiple trips to the nearby Trader Joe’s in Shrewsbury. It is one of our favorite places to stock up on delicious snacks that are overall healthier than those of well-known brands, but still taste just as good (if not better)! Here are some of my personal favorites that are always on my shopping list.

Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

As someone who prefers dark chocolate to milk chocolate, I honestly think this candy is better than Reese’s! The subtle bitterness of the chocolate complements the saltiness of the smooth peanut butter, making this one of Trader Joe’s most popular sweet treats.

Organic Corn Chip Dippers

If Fritos are one of your favorites, make sure to give the Trader Joe’s version of the snack a try! These chips are only made with three organic ingredients (corn, sunflower oil, and sea salt), and their scoop shape makes them easy to enjoy with salsa or guacamole.

Crunchy Curls

Made from lentils and potatoes, Crunchy Curls never fail to fly off the shelves, especially since they have gained recognition after thousands of positive TikTok video reviews. The snack’s irresistible buttery and salty flavor makes it nearly impossible to put down the bag!

Cheddar Rockets

This snack is very popular among my friends and I. Commonly referred to as the Trader Joe’s version of Goldfish, this is yet another salty snack that is extremely well-received by customers. This may be thanks to the fact that they’re made with real cheddar, which provides a bold and delicious flavor.

Scandinavian Swimmers

If you aren’t a chocolate fan, Scandinavian Swimmers may be the perfect candy for you! These gummies are known to be a perfect combination of soft and chewy packed with various fruity flavors. For these reasons, many say they are a step up from Swedish Fish!
