As spring break slowly approaches, and I start to pay less attention in my classes, I begin to mentally prepare what I intend to bring on my upcoming spring break trip with my girlies! When I do find time before my trips anywhere, I enjoy compiling a packing list so I’m sure not to forget anything while on vacation.

It’s important to get everything set and ready for your upcoming trip, while not forgetting to pack any essentials. So, here is my 2023 spring break ultimate packing list!

BAGGAGE

Once you figure out your method of travel (airplane, car, train, etc.), access how much space you have and what luggage you will be taking along with you. Also, remember to pack some bags to use while at your destination such as purses or a small backpack.

  • Travel totes
  • Purses
  • Backpack
  • Duffel bag
  • Carry-on suitcase or medium/large suitcase
Toiletries

Packing toiletries can be fun, but also pretty stressful. I start to become cautious to make sure that I include all that I need in my toiletry bag.

  • Facial cleanser & moisturizer (in 3.4 oz [or less] bottles for a carry-on)
  • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hair products (in 3.4 oz [or less] bottles for a carry-on)
  • Facial/body waxing strips (for easy hair removal)
  • Shaving products (razors, shaving cream)
  • Feminine care products (pads, tampons, etc.)
  • Deodorant & perfumes/body spray
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Makeup & makeup brushes/sponges
ATTIRE

Whether you’re enjoying the week at the beach, the mountains, the city or simply “out of town,” it’s key to pack the appropriate attire for your trip. Depending on your destination and climate, make sure to pack and plan your clothes accordingly.

  • Pajamas
  • Dresses
  • Skirts/shorts
  • Hoodies/jackets/sweaters
  • Jeans/pants
  • Swimsuits
  • Tops/shirts/tank tops
  • Socks
  • Underwear
      SHOES

In case you forgot about your feet! Remember to pack appropriate shoes to pair with your cute and stylish outfits.

      • Boots (for colder weather, hiking, etc.)
      • Sneakers, or good walking shoes
      • Sandals, and/or flip-flops (warmer climate)
        • Heels (for a fun night or a cute dinner out!)
          Misc.

Last but not least, it’s common to forget the other major aspects of your packing that you don’t want to miss on your trip. Some of these include:

          • Water bottle
          • Medications and First Aid
          • Portable speaker(s)
          • Travel adapter
          • Portable charger
          • Sunscreen
          • Jewelry
          • Head accessories (sun hat/bandana/beanies/sunglasses)
          • Wallet: cash, credit card, and debit card
          • Headphones
          • Phone or camera charger
          • Passport/ID
