We’ve seen mom jeans, Aerie Flare pants, and the return of leather pants, but 2023 is going to be all about cargo pants. As we’ve seen the shift into baggy pants and streetwear, cargo pants inevitably were going to have their moment in the spotlight. I know we all want to have the best options for our closet, so here’s why you should invest in a pair of cargo pants and some options and ways to get your hands on the perfect cargo pant for you!

Cargo pants should be a staple piece in everyone’s closet, not just because of how cute they look, but because they are incredibly comfortable and convenient. Cargo pants let you breathe, and they don’t irritate your skin or body. Everyone’s body is different, and cargo pants are an option that will be cute and comfy for a variety of different body types. A great way to find an affordable pair of cargo pants is to go thrifting! If you’re familiar with thrifting, you should be able to find a pair that matches your liking in no time. Thrifting is a sustainable way to develop your closet, and definitely something to look into if you want to find some original pieces.

The Urban Outfitters BDG Y2K Low-Rise Cargo Pants are absolutely adorable, although they are a little pricier. These staple pants have a 4.5-star review, and 94% of the people would recommend them, so they’re clearly a great investment.
American EAgle
American Eagle has so many cargo pants options, but I narrowed it down to my favorite pair, which is the AE Dreamy Drape Stretch Super High-Waisted Baggy Wide-Leg Pant. This pair of cargo-style pants is flower and looser, which makes them perfect for a comfortable look.
