It’s already the middle of February, and it’s safe to say that I’ve already gotten into my regular monthly cycle of listening to the same songs, bingeing one or two shows for hours straight, or eating the same snack over and over. I’ve been into a lot of things so far this month, so I thought I’d list a few of my favorites.

I’m currently bingeing the show on Netflix and I’m literally speeding through it. It’s about the Gallagher family; Fiona is raising her siblings on her own, all while dealing with their alcoholic father and absent mother. It’s so addicting, and when I’m watching I always realize that I’m either halfway through a season, or I’ve completely finished it. There are 11 seasons, and 12 episodes in each one, so if you watch consistently, it’s not a hard show to get through. You get attached to the characters and their storylines from the jump, and you want to keep following along to see what happens to everyone.

I’ve been wanting to try Glossier’s Balm Dot Com for years, but I just never got around to buying it. I saw it at Marshall’s one day for half the price and picked it up immediately. The berry balm has a purple tint to it and it smells just like berry candy. It goes on smoothly and the packaging is super cute.

White cheddar Cheez-Its used to be my favorite flavor until I tried these. It sounds weird at first, but they’re so good. They don’t taste like an actual buffalo chicken wing, they taste almost like a regular Cheez-It mixed with hot sauce (except they’re really not that spicy at all). They’re delicious and just about the only snack I’ve been eating recently.

He’s definitely shot up on everyone’s radar since The Last of Us premiered on HBO Max. I’ve loved him since I was first introduced to him in the Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. However, the uptick in edits on my For You page and Twitter timeline — along with fun interviews on my Youtube recommended — made me want to go and watch all of his filmographies. He’s funny, talented, and such a genuine, down-to-earth person, and he definitely deserves an Emmy for how great he is in his new show.

One of my best friends just bought me this album on vinyl as a surprise gift, and it’s all I’ve been spinning. This is my favorite album from Mitski, and it has my favorite song, “Last Words of a Shooting Star”. It’s the first vinyl I have for Mitski, and because she’s one of my and my friend’s favorite artists, it makes the gift even more special. When I’m not listening to it on my record player, I’m streaming it on Spotify.

Scream is one of my favorite movies, and I’ve been watching the entire franchise with my friend group to prepare for Scream 6 coming out in March. I’m always a fan of group-watching movies because it makes the experience way more fun, especially with everyone’s commentary and jokes happening in between.

I’m also reading A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. Everyone in the group I’m watching Scream with started the series around the same time. The series goes on for three books and is about teenager Pippa Fitz-Amobi solving a murder in her hometown after believing her friend was wrongly accused. We’re all at different points in the series, but it’s still so fun reading with the group and sharing thoughts, theories, and notes that we’ve taken.

I just started implementing this into my skincare routine at the start of the month, and I’m already seeing results. I bought it to help with my dark spots and hyperpigmentation, and I feel like my skin is already getting brighter. I use it after my cleanser; I just squeeze a little bit onto a cotton pad and dab it around my face. It smells nice and citrusy and doesn’t dry out my skin.

Cloud is my favorite perfume from Ariana, but I used the last of it a while ago and need to buy more. Until I get the chance to, I’ve been using Ari, which is a close second. It’s light and floral, and it has fruity base notes too. It lasts all day and I’m always getting compliments on it.

I would wear these leggings all the time if I could. They’re one of the comfiest things I own, and they’re super flattering on just about everyone (they also make your butt look good!). I currently only have them in black, but I’m absolutely getting more colors soon. The size range is big and they come in short and tall to specifically fit how you need them to. I just bought this from the convenience store on a whim because I’d never seen it before, and now I’m addicted. It’s the regular lemon-lime flavor, mixed with strawberry and pineapple. It’s super refreshing and might even be better than the original Sprite (but that’s up in the air).

Reese’s Cups are my favorite candy, and I love when holidays roll around because they turn the cups into different shapes. For Valentine’s Day, they turn them into hearts. Personally, I think the fun shapes make them taste better, and I’m already just about done with the bag my mom gave me in my Valentine’s basket.

I’ve loved this song since she released it on her latest album, Traumazine. I recently went back and rewatched the music video for the song, and reignited my obsession. It’s been on a loop every day and I think it’s arguably one of her best songs. Her lyrics and her flow on this song are my favorite, and Key Glock is one of the best features she’s had. The funeral aspect she portrays in the music video is really cool, especially when she pops out of the crowd wearing a white dress and a big white hat, standing out amongst all the black clothes and umbrellas.

I got these for Christmas and for some reason, I’ve found myself using them more frequently recently. The noise-canceling aspect is so good that I can barely hear with them on, even when nothing is playing. The ear part is big enough that it’s comfortable, but not so big that it’s bulky and annoying. They work really well and come at an affordable price too.

Honestly, this isn’t even half of what I’ve been into this month, it’s only my favorite things and the things that have been occupying my mind the most. The month also isn’t over, so there’s still a lot I’ll probably get into as these last few days pass by.
