Our Style Suggestions Based On Your Seasonal Color Palette

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Conn Coll chapter.

The old trend of seasonal color palettes to dress your best has made a comeback in the recent months. Here is a guide to help you find your colors and our favorite looks for each season. The first step is to discover your seasonal color palette. Multiple color palette quizzes are trending online right now, but our personal favorite is the 30 Something Urban Girl Color Analysis Quiz

This quiz will take into account the coolness or warmth of your skin, hair, and eyes as well as the contrast between those features. This will then guide you to the colors that will look the most flattering on your unique features! After finding your color palette, take a look at our favorite looks for each of the different categories. All of the looks we will show are purely suggestions, it is most important to dress in what makes you feel comfortable and confident!

Autumn

Dark Autumn  Dark Autumn is often confused with Dark Winter, but an important difference between the two is that  people who have a dark autumn color palette have warm undertones. People whose color palette is “dark autumn” tend to have high contrast between their hair, skin, and eyes. They look great in warm, deep colors, such as maroon and navy blue. We have two favorite looks for this color palette, Halle Berry in a stunning maroon gown and Sofia Vergara in this navy blue masterpiece  (we could not decide between these two gorgeous ladies!)e pANKOeBSwyIT7ErvMMQvNf7SuJgh5jeUYGmk09IZ7x9fyI19z692HfvfHPx0L2HAGqNV XrIR76UXvxYjwRsJn1CL7pnSmwXJPLYCyH DII9g9gwScIvWCw 5iWN2VZtRPmjnoowUaEMVmttZBG7G0FhnhQRHFc 9vVSGSw e0

Soft Autumn  People who fall into the soft autumn color palette have a low contrast between features, and look fantastic in warm, muted colors. Try to avoid bright and sharp colors! Instead, stick with a nice sage green and soft beige. A celebrity that we think rocked this palette is Gigi Hadid. We all remember this iconic runway moment for the hair flip, but maybe it’s because she dressed perfectly for her color palette ;) She also dresses to her palette in simple, streetwear.  L 1aQhBxljkMssxykZ8uRhiNAkVNQwsoljPpKgT xr3WNuwA50Mt84zmkZUPRdqV0MSxNzCw3LNUfyLcgzsxYtyKYJwHmJHMEmSSQH9 z6iIdS4BgR 6rkZk9HMwpw7G4M74Q zLKMvnzKEZoKghV70WB7VuUZlMWBDUSkR3QB2cn2IUAo p5t8qBk7VVKxf76Pl39BjIhLa0BO wN4B
