Caroline Calloway’s Latest Scam Will Give Predictions for 2023

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MSU chapter.

She’s at it again, beloved scammer Caroline Calloway launched her latest business endeavor last month with “Caro Cards.” Calloway took to her instagram story to pitch the cards as a perfect last minute gift—a personalized tarot card with predictions for 2023. She pitched the cards as a smaller scale scam compared to her usual model.

Readers may know Calloway from her famed fake book deal (Scam Zero), where she painted her floors white. Or they may remember her previous snake oil scam. Yes, snake oil. Calloway is so captivating to her audience about the nature of her business and her pride and brand as a scammer. She’s alluring, she’s hard to look away from. Almost anyone else would be offended at even the notion that they were a scammer, but Calloway takes it in stride, integrating the title into her personal branding.

Last year I myself participated in a Calloway scam: her signed books. I think part of the appeal isn’t the product itself but the Calloway signature. She’s one of the most interesting niche internet micro celebrities in the game right now. With all her instagram posts deleted and a tendency for a sporadic hiatus, fans may feel the pressure of getting in on the scams before it’s too late.

As of just now, the reviews for Caro Cards are raving. The cards are still available via a Paypal payment of $15. But beware, Calloway scams are notorious for being there one day and gone the next. So swipe up now, before the offer is gone and the next scam is introduced.
