It’s time!!! Christmas season is officially here! All of the decorations, Christmas movies, and festive food seem to make walking through class in the dreaded cold weather all worth it. It’s also the time of the busiest shopping season. And if you’re anything like me, you probably struggle to find items to put on your Christmas list. Luckily, (through inspo from TikTok and Pinterest) I have compiled a list of the best winter fashion staples that you’ll be happy to find under the tree.
Mini uggs:
Unless you live under a rock, you probably know that mini uggs are all the rage right now. If you were born in the early 2000’s you can probably remember wearing high ugg boots ranging from colors in brown to purple – don’t forget the bows and jewels too! Although I may cringe at how I used to style my uggs, I can guarantee these new mini uggs provide the comfort and style that will have everyone wanting them. These shoes have been styled by models like Gigi Hadid and are selling out quickly so I recommend buying them immediately!
Puffer Jacket:
If you want a warm and fashionable look then you’re going to want to buy a puffer coat. Especially in colder areas, a warm puffer jacket makes all the difference. Some popular puffer coats are the Lululemon Wunder Puff and the Aritzia Super Puff. Both stores offer various colors and different lengths to adjust to your preferences. Plus, they’re water resistant and provide all the comfort you need on those freezing and rainy days. For a less expensive option, H&M and Gap are some great brands that offer the jackets.

If you’ve looked anywhere around campus you’ve probably seen striped sweaters being worn. This trendy and timeless look can help dress up any outfit, whether paired with jeans or leggings. Many stores offer striped sweaters, but Zara, Brandy Melville, and Aerie are some popular options.
Chunky Scarves:
Recently, plaid chunky scarves have been trending, and for good reason. They’re a fun accessory and help provide comfort. Scarfs help enhance your style and are the perfect way to add a finishing touch to any outfit.
