Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever

Even though we lost our beloved main character of the Black Panther series, Chadwick Boseman doesn’t mean that this Marvel Cinematic Universe is to die. It’s like they say, “Wakanda Forever.” The highly anticipated sequel, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” has us reuniting with all of our favorite Wakanda citizens shortly after the death of King T’Challa. Queen Ramonda, Shuri, Okoye, M’Baku and the Dora Milaje all fight together to protect their country from international world powers from other villains. The director, Ryan Coogler, as well as the Marvel Studios, have most of the plot revolving around the film under wraps which comes as no surprise to fans. One of the main questions that have us wondering is who is going to be the new King of Wakanda after the death of Boseman? Also, how do they kill off his character in the films? With that being said, we still get to see familiar faces again such as Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o and Letitia Wright. Don’t miss out on “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” now in theaters!

My Policeman

Watch out One Directioners, Harry Styles strikes again in the acting world with the new period piece “My Policeman.” The film is set in 1950s Britain revolving around a forbidden love triangle changing social conventions during the time. Styles plays policeman Tom, “The Crown’s” season four Emma Corrin plays teacher Marion and another English actor David Dawson plays museum curator, Patrick. The story takes place in two different decades, the 1950s, and then flashes forward to the 1990s. The characters are older, trying to repair the damages that were made in the past. Singer/songwriter Harry Styles has shown us time and time again that he always likes to keep busy. Between traveling with “Love On Tour” and the new press junkets and premieres for his upcoming films, Styles keeps trying to prove to the world he is creative in more than one field. Harry Styles’ movie career has been discussed more recently including the backlash of his acting skills and drama from Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling.” The real question is can Styles prove the haters wrong in this Amazon Prime original? Don’t forget to watch Michael Grandage’s “My Policeman” on Amazon Prime starting Friday, Nov. 4.

Bones and All

Timothee Chalamet has come a long way since his “Call Me By Your Name” days years ago. His academy-nominated acting and good looks have been making independent cinema more popular around Hollywood in recent years. Chalamet is back at it again with yet another indie film, “Bones and All,” along with Canadian co-star Taylor Russell. “Bones and All” follows the story of a young woman, Maren, trying to find ways to survive the margins of society when she meets Lee, a disenfranchised drifter, and the two embark on a 3,000-mile road trip across America. This Luca Guadagnino flick shows the blossom of a road trip love story, giving the perfect balance between adventure and romance. This romantic drama isn’t your typical Chalamet film as he has two bigger projects in the works, including his version of Willy Wonka in 2023’s “Wonka” and the sequel of the “Dune” series. Are we ready to see Timothee Chalamet pull off a red ombre look in this new film? Guess we’ll have to wait and see Chalamet’s newest film, “Bones and All” being released on Nov. 24 nationwide.
