Brunch: not quite breakfast, not quite lunch.

Nothing makes me happier than waking up on (preferably) a Sunday morning, throwing on a cute outfit, and driving to my favorite brunch spot. Personally, breakfast has never really been my thing, and I can get easily bored with lunch, so I believe someone must have recognized this struggle and created brunch for people like me. As someone who prides themself on their love of brunch, I feel qualified to provide you with a list of the best brunch places in Lancaster, PA.

Lancaster Central Market

Central Market comes in at a solid five. Although this is not a sit down restaurant, you can find hundreds of unique foods when walking through the market aisles. I mean, who doesn’t love getting their grocery shopping done while also enjoying some yummy food? Personally, I love to get a chai-tea latte from Mean Cup and an acai bowl from Oola Bowls. I highly recommend sitting outside in the square to eat your personal brunch-food(s) pick. If you’re lucky, there might be live music that day!

Chestnut Hill Cafe

Chestnut Hill Cafe is a hidden gem in Lancaster County. The atmosphere of the cafe exudes everything cozy and fall. Although the food selection is a little scarce, the atmosphere of the cafe makes up for it. I highly recommend traveling to Chestnut Hill Cafe if you want a cozy and calm place to study and enjoy some brunch!

532 W Chestnut St, Lancaster, PA 17603 – Monday through Sunday 8am-4pm

The Bread Pedaler

When I found this cafe, my life had been changed. The food at The Bread Pedaler is just undeniably amazing. No matter what I get, however, I always go back to the vegan french toast. The cafe is quite small, so you will likely experience some wait time. If you are hoping to devour some vegan french toast (or whatever else floats your boat), I would recommend getting there close to when they open!

116 W Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17603 – Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8am-2pm

Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie

The delight that is Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie is no secret here in Lancaster, PA. The hype around Rachel’s is well-deserved. Rachel’s serves the best crepes I have ever tasted. The cafe provides vegan options and is very inviting to people who need/want to make modifications. Beyond the food, the service and atmosphere at the creperie are unmatched. If you love crepes, visit Rachel’s immediately!

201 W Walnut St, Lancaster, PA 17603 – Tuesday through Sunday 8am-3pm

Prince Street Cafe

Coming in at number one is Prince Street Cafe. I have a soft spot in my heart for this cafe. Prince Street Cafe falls at number one solely based on the fact that they provide customers with so. many. options. With everything from a good ole’ home-fry bowl to a vegan sandwich, baked oatmeal, and so many lunch options, the cafe has something for everyone. Personally, I love the potato burrito or apple cinnamon baked oatmeal. An added bonus — you get to enjoy the food in a beautiful environment. If you go solo or with a friend, this cafe never disappoints.

15 N Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603 – Monday through Sunday 7am-7pm

As time goes on, I am positive that my list of personal favorite brunch spots will change, but I hope these *highly-tested* recommendations inspire you to go treat yourself to a much-needed brunch.
