So much music has been coming out lately and I’m overwhelmed by all of it! Artists like Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, and The 1975 are back in business releasing groundbreaking albums with incredible themes and lyricism. Here’s a little list of my favorite new songs of the new songs that have come out lately. Check them out you won’t be disappointed!

1. Midnight Rain by Taylor Swift

Who’s surprised? Not me at all! Taylor Swift’s new album, Midnights, is genuinely unlike anything else and I had to pick a favorite for this list. Although I love them all, Midnight Rain has been one of my favorites. It’s perfect for midnight drives and dancing!

2. Orange Juice by Noah Kahan

Noah Kahan is a trailblazer in his genre. His new Album, Stick Season, has been one of my favorites of all time. Genuinely, I beg everyone to listen to the whole album and you’ll find a story behind each and every song. This song happens to be my favorite and I can’t help but look deeply into Kahan’s lyrics and find myself somewhere in them.

3. About You by The 1975

You’ve heard it all over TikTok for a reason. This song has managed to take me all the way back to my Tumblr days and it feels like listening to Robbers for the first time all over again. I have to mention that this song is technically a continuation of Robbers—so cool! You will listen to this song and ascend to heaven. It’s just how it goes I don’t make the rules.

4. Silhouette and Close Your Eyes by the Backseat Lovers

One of my favorite bands of all time! The Backseat Lovers have managed to release yet another amazing album this past October called Waiting to Spill. These two songs start off the album and MUST be listened to one after the other. Both songs clocking in as over 10 minutes when listened to back-to-back, have the most incredibly satisfying conclusion you will ever hear in your lifetime.

5. My Mind & Me by Selena Gomez

Truly an incredible artist and woman, Selena Gomez just released her new song, My Mind & Me along with her new documentary. This song is so beautiful and shows her incredible strength and passion. I recommend everyone watches her new documentary and listens to her heartfelt music!
