Fall is in the air, my favorite time of year. The leaves are changing colors, the weather is getting cooler, and everything smells and tastes like pumpkin spice. This is such a fun time of year and there are many different activities you can do. Here are some ideas:
Apple/Pumpkin Picking
The most common and fun way to start off the fall season is going apple and/or pumpkin picking. Going and getting fresh apples off a tree is a different experience compared to getting them from the store. They also taste way better! This is a very fun activity to do with family, friends, and a significant other. After you get the apples you can then make stuff with them like apple pie. Another fun thing to do is pumpkin picking. This is something fun for the whole family and you can even make a competition of who can get the heaviest pumpkin. Most pumpkin patches also have hay rides which I really enjoy. A recommendation for a pumpkin place in South Florida is “Spooky Safari & Pumpkin Patch”. This place also has animals that you can feed and pet!
Flower Picking
Flower picking is such a cute and fun thing to do in the fall. Usually in the fall, sunflowers are at their peak of growth. So many places will offer sunflower picking where you even cut the stem yourself. It’s a really fun experience and you can get some really cute pictures and leave with beautiful flowers! A recommendation for a place in South Florida is called “The Berry Farm”.
Petting Zoo
A petting zoo is such a cute thing to go to. They may have many farm animals like pigs, goats, horses, and more. I have gone to one before where they even let you milk a cow! It is a very fun and exciting experience. A recommendation in South Florida is “Happi Farm”.
These are some really fun fall activities that you can do with friends and family. They are all also good places to go to take pictures and videos. Fall for me, is the best time of year and maybe it could be yours too!
