As summer comes to a close, I find that I am less drawn to songs with peppy melodies and catchy choruses, and more attracted to music that sounds like falling leaves – songs that are a little less formulaic. This music twists and turns the further into it you are. It sounds like the wind stinging your cheeks and looks like bright leaves against a gray sky. Here are my fall favorites – new and old.
