As a certified autumn girlie, I have my fair share of fall makeup looks. Throughout my years of flannels, pumpkins, and scary movies, I’ve managed to cumulate a couple go-to makeup products that always help me achieve an easy and fun routine that helps elevate the vibrance of fall.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
This concealer has been a constant with me for a couple of years now. With a good primer underneath, it never cakes up or smudges off for me. The main reason why I love this concealer so much is because it does a great job of blending into your skin. I’d call it medium coverage and does a perfect job of covering blemishes while still leaving that beautiful autumn flush in your skin. You can find this one at most drug stores!
Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Kit
I usually don’t like contour palettes very much because I never end up using one of the shades. Because of my fair skin, I struggle with finding a more natural contour and bronzer that just
emphasizes my features. I have the light/medium kit and the contour shade is perfect for all my fair skinned girlies out there. It’s perfect for more of a shadowy chisel to emphasize your cheekbones and jawline. I also love the bronze shade which gives a not too orange glow. I found this one at Sephora, but it can also be bought online.
Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Palette (Original or In Bloom)
On top of the fact that Tarte is vegan and cruelty-free, it has beautiful eyeshadow shades. Two of my favorite eyeshadow palettes are the Tartlette Matte Palette and the Tartelette In Bloom Palette. Perfect for more warm purples and rich browns and reds for the autumn season. I find these colors always bring out my green eyes and compliment the signature fall colors that I tend to wear. I bought this one online but can be found in stores such as Ulta and Sephora.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara
I was recommended this mascara by a friend, and I have never looked back since. This mascara has made my lashes appear thicker and longer than ever before. The waterproof formula will never run or smudge off when the cold weather starts making your eyes tear and I find the dark lashes work with deeper, cold weather looks. This is a drug store buy and super affordable!
Redhead Revolution Gingerlash Mascara
For all my fellow gingers out there, I found a mascara for you! Although black mascara can elevate looks, I sometimes prefer a warmer more natural lash color. Because I have red hair, my lashes are very light and tend to fade into the rest of my face. The shades Genuine Ginger and Honest Auburn are literally perfect for elevating your red head features and making them
redder for the season of gingers! These mascaras are found online and are semi-affordable if you consider buying a bundle.
Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey
This has been my favorite lipstick for a good while now. It’s the perfect shade for a moody autumn look, emphasizing the redness in your lips without having to commit to a real red shade. I also love the more purple undertones because they match with the Tarte eyeshadow that I also mentioned. It’s so hyped but it’s hyped for a reason! This lipstick can be found in most makeup stores such as Ulta or Sephora, but I bought it online.
