When it comes to the fall season what kind of treats pop into your head? Starbucks pumpkin spice latte? Pumpkin and apple pie? Perhaps apple cider is your drink of choice. Everyone has their own taste and preferences for what they define as their fall treats. Here are my Top 5 treats that are must-haves for the fall season:

5. Caramel Apples

Caramel apples always remind me of the fall season. There’s just something about an apple dipped in chocolate and covered in chocolate chips that sets the fall mood. And if you’re looking for a sweet snack that is technically healthy for you then this is the food for you!

4. Caramel Popcorn

Whenever I went to a fall fair or pumpkin farm, my family and I always bought caramel popcorn. When I eat it, I’m brought back to hay rides, apple picking, and pumpkin carving. If you haven’t tried it yet, I encourage you to eat some this fall season as it may become your new fav fall food! (If you’re noticing a pattern, yes I have a weakness for anything caramel.)

3. Apple Dumplings

Apple dumplings in my opinion are the upgraded version of an apple pie. They are a pastry wrapped apple that is baked and covered in cinnamon and sugar. The filling can vary depending on your preference but I usually prefer cinnamon butter. Apple dumplings were a staple at my grandparents house during the fall and eating them reminds me of that time.

2. Hot Chocolate

Hot chocolate is always my choice of a fall comfort drink as it is a classic and you can’t go wrong with it. Not to mention there are many different varieties such as caramel, mint, pumpkin spice. There is something for everyone! And if you’re not much of an apple cider person, but still want something warm to drink, hot chocolate is a great alternative!

1.Pumpkin Bread

I can’t write a list of favorite fall treats and not include pumpkin bread. I always have pumpkin bread on hand during the fall season because it is just so good! And it is easy to grab a piece to eat while I’m studying or between classes. This with hot chocolate is one of my all time favorite combinations. And pumpkin bread can be customized to fit your specific tastes, so it is no surprise why this treat is a staple during the fall season.

These are only a few of my fav fall treats and I hope it encourages you to try something new this fall season!
