Twitter Is 99.9% Sure Of Who The Next Black Panther Is In ‘Wakanda Forever’

Marvel Studios has done it again, this time with the drop of the latest trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. After the sudden death of the late Chadwick Boseman, Marvel fans have been grieving the death of the original Black Panther, also known as King T’Challa. Many have wondered: Who is going to replace Boseman as the next Black Panther? The new trailer may have just answered that burning question — and Twitter is thinking that Letitia Wright’s Shuri may be carrying on Boseman’s legacy.

Shuri is known in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the younger sister of T’Challa. In the original comics, Shuri takes on the role of Black Panther when her brother goes into a coma after a tragic battle with other Marvel villains. So it comes as no surprise that Marvel fans are 99.9% sure that Shuri will be taking on the position as Black Panther in the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film.

The second trailer that dropped on Oct. 3 seemingly confirms this theory even more ahead of the film’s Nov. 11 release date — and Twitter is eating it up! The teaser doesn’t explicitly confirm that Shuri will be the new lead, but we do get a glimpse at the new Black Panther suit that is inhabited by a feminine-looking physique.

There’s been a few other theories floating around, including thoughts that characters like Killmonger, Nakia, and Okoye could potentially step into the role as they’re all deeply rooted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Quite frankly, many of these theories have been debunked after a new Funko Pop toy set was leaked that showcases the new Black Panther suit with similarities to Shuri’s recognizable look. The trailer, too, gives us a first look at the new MCU hero Ironheart as played by Dominique Thorne, ahead of her upcoming Disney+ series.

Not to mention, Shuri’s also front and center in the new movie poster that dropped on Oct. 3 as well. Fans have long contemplated who would take on the iconic role previously played by Boseman, and though there has been no outright confirmation from Marvel yet, many are assuming that Shuri will be stepping into the spotlight as the new Black Panther.

Twitter’s been pretty hectic, as fans are trying to point out all the hidden clues and secrets that leave them believing Shuri is the new Black Panther. Here are some of the best tweets of fans and viewers alike reacting to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer.
