As fall is just around the corner, here are my favorite things that always get me in the mood for snuggly, cozy autumn vibes. My list includes some simple pleasures like shows and movies, music, and items that never fail to encapsulate fall energy and stave off my seasonal depression for a little bit.

Twilight Playlist

If it is a rainy autumn afternoon I am for sure blasting a Twilight playlist. No movie or soundtrack truly captures the gloomy fall day more than the Twilight Saga. I do not care that Twilight is a teen vampire/werewolf movie, it is a way of life, and every fall without fail I am rewatching these movies and listening to the soundtrack. Link at the bottom!

Fuzzy Socks

Fuzzy socks, although a very basic thing, is just perfect when relaxing on a chilly September/October night. Cabin socks are my favorite type and even though it is still 80 degrees here in Buffalo, I am cranking my AC down to 65 and snuggling with some fuzzy socks and hot cocoa.

Harry Potter

I have never left my Harry Potter phase and I am proud of it. There is just something about the Harry Potter movies that just scream autumn, fantasy, and cozy vibes. It is so magical and whimsical. It is so great to just relax and watch them, especially the early movies.

Autumn in New York

Another playlist that I live by from September to November is the Autumn in New York playlist on Spotify. With smooth jazz and Sinatra if you close your eyes you are transported to a chilly fall day in Central Park. This playlist is best enjoyed cooking a nice warm meal, taking a warm bath, or dancing in your living room with the love of your life. Link at the bottom!

Essential Oil Blends and Candles

I am all about ambiance when it comes to relaxation. I love fairy lights and rock salt lamps, but another way to encourage a fall ambient vibe is the scent. I love lighting a vanilla pumpkin candle and I love putting on my oil diffuser if I am about to fall asleep. My favorite essential oil blends for fall are cinnamon bark oil and lemon tea tree oil or a small drop of sandalwood. These scents have been non-stop diffusing in my room since the last day of August.
