Hey collegiettes!
After we wrapped up our first show in Orlando (read about it here), the Her Campus Nationals team headed over to Auburn University in Auburn, AL for stop number two of College Fashion Week! It was homecoming weekend and Auburn pride was in the air.
We spent the morning of the show stuffing our VIP swag bags with goodies from Poppin, neuro, LUNA and The Her Campus Shop. Doesn’t all of the swag look awesome?
We wanted to make sure that we showcased true southern style with lots of flirty yet ladylike looks and tons of orange and blue! One aspect of life at Auburn that I wanted to make sure we highlighted was how passionate Auburn students (and alums) are about their football team. Tailgating is a huge part of life at Auburn, and the girls really dress to the nines on game day.

As I explained in my recap post of College Fashion Week Orlando, the theme of College Fashion Week 2013 is “A Day in the Life of a Collegiette.” The four scenes for College Fashion Week Auburn were:

Just like in Orlando, Samsonite, the official luggage sponsor of College Fashion Week, was there promoting their #LifePacked sweepstakes, and Poppin, the official dorm and office accessories sponsor of College Fashion Week, was there running a “best-dressed desk” contest encouraging students to #playdressup.
Most of the clothes for College Fashion Week Auburn were from UsTrendy (shop all of the looks here) with select items from Henri Girl, OUTSPOKKEN, Lilly Pulitzer, Category 5 Boat Shoes, adidas, Rampage and Armed & Readi.

One thing that made College Fashion Week Auburn extra special was that the show was on my 25th birthday! Taylor, HC Nationals’ senior manager of client services, and the HC Auburn girls surprised me with the most beautiful birthday cake at the end of the show! It was the sweetest!
